The dinner was tense especially when Colton would only eat the food I gave him, causing Rachelle to get mad. But luckily it's over. I don't think I have ever been as embarrassed by anything than I was when Mother called me out in the middle of the meal. All the men are inside my father's office on some conference call with Damon Carson or something, whoever he is they looked nervous as hell.

The women are in the sitting room no doubt gossiping and that leaves me, Lola and Colton. Not that I'm complaining. I'm glad I don't have to sit in a room with my step dad or my mother, especially when they're tense. "Can we watch a movie?" Cole asks. "Ok sure. Just let me grab some snacks and I'll be right up." I gesture my hand down the hall, "Go meet me in the screening room." He grins and runs down the hall Lola follows behind, I swear that boy never walks anywhere.

I walk into my room and grab a bag of Doritos. The supreme cheese ones. If mum knew I had them she would probably get dad to hit me, hell she'd probably hit me herself. I go through my food stash and pull out a carton of juice that I keep for Colton, a soda for Lola and a water bottle for myself.

Walking into the screening room I look around at the familiarity of it, the room itself gives me a casino office sort of vibe with red velvet carpet, on the floor as well as some on the walls. Dark wood frames the room and plush leather seats, that are way too fancy for a house, are seated on a rise so you get the best view of the screen wherever you are seated.

I can't help but sigh at the movie that Coleton chose. Descendents. Cole shoots me a sly grin, I'm going to have 'Rotten to the core' stuck in my head for weeks.

As the movie starts I almost cry when Cameron Boyce comes onto the screen, why do the good ones always have to die. Colton curls up on my lap and falls to sleep probably ten minutes into the movie. Why am I putting myself through this torture if the damn boys just gonna sleep? I shift slightly and Coleton slowly wakes up. I look down at him ignoring the obnoxious singing as he tugs on my dress for my attention, "yeah?" he looks behind him quickly and then faces me again. "Do they not love me?"

Lola flicks her eyes up to me, fear clear in them. I stop for a second, "What do you mean honey?" he takes a deep breath and then takes off the bow tie, "Mummy said that I couldn't show you this, but it hurts Har har." I look over to where he's pointing to on his neck. I just stare at it in shock, "Har har?" I close my eyes for a second, "Yeah honey?" he wipes his eyes and I try not to look at the bruises in the shape of a hand on his neck, "They scare me." I bite my lip, "I know." I say pulling him closer into my arms, Lola sits still staring at her hands.

"Harley?" I look up to Lola, "Yes honey?" She shakily pulls up the sleeve of her dress, her arm littered in green, purple and blue. "They told me they wouldn't do it to you anymore if I kept quiet." I cover my mouth with my hand holding in a sob. They lied to me. My parents fucken lied to me.

I barge into my parent's room and I'm welcomed with the sight of Luccas ass as he thrusts into my mother. I need to bleach my eyes. And ears. I pull Rachelle fully into the room.

Lucca pulls out and I throw him his pants. "What do you want, girl? You can't just barge in here." I glare at the man who tormented me for years, "Which one of you hurt Coleton?" I sneer, Lucca groans and runs a hand over his face, "That's why you interrupted me because you want to know if we lay a hand on your pathetic little boy,"

I glare at him but turn my attention to Rachelle, "Did you?" I ask, almost begging for her to deny it. "Yeah, so what. He needed to learn a lesson."

"But he didn't do anything!" I scream, "Watch your tone with your sister," Mother snaps trying to cover herself with the duvet. "What could he have possibly done?"

"He upset me," My idiot sister whines. I gape at her, "How?" She glares at me, "He likes you better than me."

I stumble back, "You wrapped your hand around a two-year-old's throat because he wanted to hang out with his Auntie?" Rachelle glares at me, "I don't like this tone."

"What about Lola?" I ask, looking at my mother, "She wouldn't have done anything to deserve it."

Mother shrugs, "She was eating unhealthy," I don't know what overcame me but I march up to her and wrap my hands around her bicep, to the point of her whimpering.

"Do you like that!?" I scream at her, "Because that's what it's like." I scream again, louder this time. "Har har?" I whip my head around to see a crying Cole, Lola gripping onto his hand. "Honey," I walk over to them only to be stopped by a fist in my gut. I crash to the ground.

I hear a whimper. I look up to see Lucca standing over Lola and Cole sitting in the corner crying. I run up to Lucca and try to drag him away from her, he turns to face me and I know we're fucked.
