Colt Anaconda

Three days later.

Walking the streets of Tokyo. Past the people's stares. His black uniform waving across the soft glowing morning.

Their faces. Watching, staring, his suited stare, his green pin, black eyes, black hair, his face, Their faces.

He walked across the city, through aisles of nothing, to places packed with everything.

He took the train across Taito to a small town near the back end of the city. His brown briefcase in hand. His face pouting the same look. The same sad look as three days prior when he came to Tokyo.

He exited the train to a small suburban town on the outskirts of Tokyo.

He stood out over a riverside. His arms cross and his body leaning forward. He took in the view of his hometown. Where he was born, lived, died.

He looked over the grassy underpass below a concrete bridge. He saw two school kids talking to each other. A boy and a girl.

They kissed.

He walked the streets. Shops filled with smiling Japanese men and women, their faces glistening with hope and happiness. Eating away with snacks and sweets.

His face didn't look like theirs.

He walked across the small paths of sakura trees and flowing lush rivers. The animals abundant in nature, their movements wild and exciting.

He sat down at a park bench. Staring out at the small flowing river, at the small suburban neighborhood of lower houses and smaller sites.

He could barely see the city from there, the trees, the clouds, the smiles blocking the view.

A feeling of pain and calmness erupted from within. He couldn't hold it back anymore. Days in that tower of nothing, boredom, confinement. A forced life he never wanted to live.

Tears.

An old couple walked by watching him. Their eyes stuck to his black-suited uniform and green flower pin. They knew exactly what he was and they knew exactly why he was here.

---

Bob stood staring silently in the Leasure Hall. His eyes focused on the elevator. His body perfectly still and stiff.

Jack walked past him wiping his head with a towel after working out and taking a long cold shower. He look at Bob then at Vlad who sat at a random table in the middle of the gigantic room.

"Yo Vlad. What's up with Bob?" (Jack)

Vlad took out his earphones and turned around quick to see Bob staring eerily.

"Oh Bob, he's just doing his thing. Don't mess with him though." (Vlad)

Vlad had a sharp chin. His eyes fierce and angular. His hair had a dark shade of red to it. The scars on his face made him look mysterious and cool. Jack liked Vlad's look and tone.

So he listened and respected him. He just silently watched Bob from afar, watching him do his thing. And as time passed Jack started to feel a feeling of hominess. He felt like he could start liking this life. That he could start liking these people and the way they act and talk and move.

Minutes later Jack turned to see Diana walking across the hallw ith her black heels held high. She waved to Jack. Jack waved back.

"What are you doing?" (Diana)

"Watching Bob do his thing." (Jack)

"Bob's doing his thing? Oh... That means someone's here?" (Diana)

"Someone?" (Jack) Jack turned to Diana. He saw her beautifully stunning face and silky black hair. He blushed.

"Here's a little fun fact. Bob's magic allows him to see future events in succession. He's the perfect butler. He always has everything ready for any mess or any complication. It also allows him to greet people very efficiently." (Diana)

"Wa- That's broken. Like seriously broken. Why is he just a butler? Seems like the wrong job." (Jack)

Diana leaned in. She pointed at Bob's arms, legs, and hands.

"Another fun fact. Most sorcerers, especially the special ones, like us, have certain conditions or hand signs we need to use in order to cast our magic. Look at Bob's stance. It's perfectly straight and perfectly still. It's honestly breathtaking. Look at how he's not moving a single inch. Not one centimeter." (Diana)

They both leaned in and looked closer at Bob from behind. His body perfectly still. Perfectly stiff. They watched him for minutes, staring for an eternity.

Bob noticed the two stalking watchers.

"What are you doing, Madam Diana and Sir Jack?" (Bob)

"That's my cue to leave. I have piles of paperwork to do.

Diana snuck away as Jack stepped up to Bob.

"Bob? Teach me the trick to the hand sign stuff. How you cast your magic. Cause supposedly I've been doing it wrong." (Jack)

"Oh my! Jack, you want to know about me? My magic power? Well, Master Colt told me to never tell my secrets to anyone. But... A little hint won't hurt." (Bob)

He stood perfectly still and stared straight out. Not one flinch, not one creak.

"Sir Jack. Magic comes from within yourself. To pull out that magic you must look within. So you must find the stance that gives you the most comfort to look within. That is what Master Colt taught me." (Bob)

Jack looked at his hands. His body, legs, feet to toes. He tried to feel comfortable. He relaxed his hands, his arms, his legs to toes.

"It's not working. I still don't understand." (Jack)

Bob smiled and reassured Jack.

"Master Colt taught me that Magic isn't a single source or a single ability. Magic is apart of the Sorcerer. One in the same. It grows along- Oops I've told too much." (Bob)

"No Bob you've taught me enough. But this Master Colt guy. He seems really smart and strong. I'd like to meet him." (Jack)

Bob turned to the elevator.

"Speaking of which. They should be arriving any second." (Bob)

---

"Who are you?" (Colt)

"Who are you?" (Yaku)

In the elevator. Colt and Yaku are standing parallel of each other. The numbers going up and up. The lights flashing up and up. The elevator going up and up.

Yaku couldn't stop glaring at Colts white-suited uniform and black flower pin.

Colt stood with his hands in his pockets and his back against the shining black mirror that reflected infinitely around them. He turned to the Fourth-Class Sorcerer in-front of him.

"Are you apart of The Special Magic Squad, kid?" (Colt)

"Yes. But I am no a kid. My name is Yaku Tanoki." (Yaku)

Colt glanced over at Yaku's green flower pin.

"Oh, a new recruit. Interesting. You look mature enough for your age. Who's squad were you in before us?" (Colt)

"I was in Squad Ren of Mato's European Division 1. I was stationed in the Netherlands for half a year. Then the Magic Force found out I had two Magic abilities. And I was sent here with another weirdo." (Yaku)

Colt smirked. He pointed to his own pin.

"I wanna get a good picture of ya since we're gonna be working together. What was your class before the switch? Your face has experience and pain written all over it." (Colt)

"I was a Second-Class Sorcerer." (Yaku)

"Second Class! Damn damn. Crazy." (Colt)

"But I was only a Second-Class Sorcerer for a day. After they did the tests and scans they found out I was hiding a part of my magic. Then they couldn't keep me there anymore." (Yaku)

"Ha, those old fucks. Really screwing over you gifted types. It's funny. Real funny. But don't get too cocky, they send me your kind every year. Those with special abilities they deem worthy to outcasts. There you may be special. But here in my squad. You're about the same level as a rat." (Colt)

Yaku flinched at Colt's choice of phrasing and wording.

"A rat?!" (Yaku)

"The rats back at our old place. Big as fuck. Weak as fuck. That's you." (Colt)

"So you think I'm a rat?" (Yaku)

"Yeah. A rat. But compared to me you're more of a flea tho." (Colt)

Yaku was appalled by Colt's delinquent demeanor, off the book language, and wild ego.

---

They reached the end of their elevator ride. The doors opened wide.

Yaku immediately rushed out grabbing Jack by the collar and pulling him away to a random table in the back of the hall.

Colt strolled out with his hands in his pockets.

"Welcome back Master Colt. How was your A-Class Mission?" (Bob)

Colt stepped into the massive Leasure Hall. He looked at the state of things. The moved around couches, the turned-on TV's, the plain clean look of the whole place.

"Yeah yeah I finished it in thirty seconds... Not even a challenge Bob." (Colt)

He looked past Bob at Yaku and Jack sitting side by side talking about something.

"Yo-yo Bob, who's that guy over there?" (Colt)

Bob swung around stiff.

"Sir Jack Pelli is the new Fourth Class Intermediate Sorcerer in the Special Magic Squad." (Bob)

"No the one next to him with the black hair. What's his abilities? Tell me all you got." (Colt)

"You mean Sir Yaku Tanoki. He is also a new Fourth Class Intermediate Sorcerer. His abilities and magic are all in the file sent to your office four days ago. Along with Jack Pellis." (Bob)

Colt walked up to Vlad. He looked down at his phone. He slapped him across the head taking his phone and throwing it across the room.

"Wa- Give that back!" (Vlad)

He looked up pissed. He looked up at the just arrived Colt.

"Yo." (Colt)

"Oh, it's you... Why would you take my phone?" (Vlad)

Colt sighed in annoyance.

"You really couldn't just say what's up Colt. Or like, yo dude can't believe you beat that monster. Crazy!" (Colt)

"Yeah yeah." (Vlad)

"Ya-ya-yeah-yeah what is that?! I'm done with you. Next time look up to your boss." (Colt)

"You're not even my boss. Diana has my respect! You're never gonna be as good looking as her."

Colt walked back to Bob with his gloved hand pointing the middle finger to the sky.

"Shut up and get back to laying around fat ass!" (Colt)

He stopped at Bob's constant smiling face.

"Yeah I'm not even dealing with that looser. Can't even say hi to his own boss." (Colt)

"Master I mean no harm but technically you are not his boss. Diana is." (Bob)

"Yeah yeah, you always say that. Diana programmed that into you or whatever ya robot." (Colt)

"Master I am not a-" (Bob)

"Shusshhshshsh!" (Colt)

He looked back across the room. He watched as Jack and Yaku both followed eachother out of the hall and up one of the hidden stairways.

"Those two. How long have they been here?" (Colt)

"Three days." (Bob)

"Weren't there more Sorcerers in our Squad? I feel like we're missing some. It's kinda boring and dry here." (Colt)

"Madam Emma and Sir Harrinhorn are out on a mission at the moment. The other Squad Members... Master Colt... If you don't mind me saying this, but... You drove them out." (Bob)

"Yeah yeah don't worry about it Bob. You're the only guy I can trust. No need to worry about that offending me stuff." (Colt)

Colt leaned in closer. His wicked immoral grin growing wider.

"And since we're such good mates, how about you do me a favor and look into what Diana's doin right now?" (Colt)

"Yes master!" (Bob)

He slapped his arms and legs together into a military-like stance. He stood perfectly still, not a single move. He looked into the future, the future of himself walking around the building, from floor to floor. He saw himself walking past Yaku and Jack playing ping-pong in the game room. He walked past Qway talking with a girl he met online. He walked up to Diana's office. He turned the doorknob. It didn't budge.

"Madam Diana has herself locked in her office at the moment. She must know that you are here Master Colt." (Bob)

Colt turned away defeated.

"Damn. Smart woman. She must have known I would do that." (Colt)

Bob stood still with his arms stuck to his sides. Colt turned to Vlad as he searched across the countless couches for his lost phone. He walked over to a table in the back of the room.

"I think I've got a perfect idea. To kill two birds with one stone." (Colt)

Bob followed Colt over to the table.

"What is it Master Colt?" (Bob)

"Bob... You'll do anything I say, right?" (Colt)

"Yes, Master Colt." (Bob)

"Good good. You're a good Bulter, right? Your not evil or anything." (Colt)

"Yes, I am a great Butler, thank you for the compliment." (Bob)

Colt smirked whilst leaning forward and whispering.

"Don't tell anyone about this ok. Not even Diana. Were gonna shake on this ok?" (Colt)

"Yes Master." (Bob)

Bob leaned forward protruding his hand out like a stiff doll. Colt shook it.

"Good good... Let's get right down to business. Later today in my personal gym. I want you to get those two newbies, Jag and Yagu or whatever their names were. Get them in there somehow. I don't really care how. Trick 'em or something. Then lock the door when you leave. Got it?" (Colt)

Colt smirked evilly.

"Master I am not fully sure that is the right thing to do? Seems evil? What are you planning to do to them?" (Bob)

"Shhshshshshsh... It's been getting boring around here. Look at Vlad. He used to kill Monster daily but now he's so slouched and uncool. I want to spice things up a bit. Get the place going. And some fighting will do just that." (Colt)

---

At the same time. Tokyo, Japan.

Three sorcerers from Squad Yua were investigating a disturbance in the Monster Tracking System. They were walking through an abandoned building, each of them holding weapons and trackers.

"It says it's in this vicinity." (Third-Class Sorcerer, Squad Yua, Akihiko Haru)

"Didn't Captain Yua put the priority to Black A for this one. Shouldn't we be retreating back?" (Fourth-Class Sorcerer, Squad Yua, Kenji Tuna)

The red blip grew bigger. Kenji walked a bit behind the two other higher classed sorcerers. he watched as they brazenly blazed through the building.

"Kenji your not thinking like a winner. Your gonna be stuck in Fourth Class forever. If you want that blue pin your gonna have to work for it. Not hide back... Just think and you'll be getting promotion points by the daily. It's not that big of a deal. Everyone in the squad and division are out doing this as we speak. Captain Yua and the information squad said there are blips all over Tokyo right now. It's probably just some spike in small monster activity due to a loose magic-user or something. We can deal with it easy." (Third Class Sorcerer, Squad Yua, Fuji Mato)

The group entered a dark and mostly room.

"Your very optimistic Fuji. And creative in your ideas. I believe that this disturbance is probably those technology geeks back at Main HQ fucking up again." (Akihiko)

Fuji pointed toward the darkness.

"Kenji light up the area." (Fuji)

Kenji held out his two hands. He flipped them upside down and put them into two parallel circles of eachother.

"Hard Light!" (Kenji)

A small beam of light flooded the area, lighting up the entire abandoned building.

Fuji turned around to the group.

"See nothing. Not a single monster." (Fuji)

Kenji jumped back in fear.

Akihiko readied himself to fight.

Fuji turned back around.

A Rift formed in space and time. A white and black-lined crack that slowly spread apart.

Apart apart apart. The space between reality and life. Death and destruction.

Fuji stepped back.

A hand reached out from the Rift. A hand covered in black head to toe, dripping in cosmic chaos.

"What is that tha-" (Fuji)

That day a Priority Black A Rift was found in Tokyo, Japan.

Sorcerers Fuji Mato, Akihiko Haru, and Kenji Tuna were found dead on the scene.
