Destinies Plans

"Now for our big-ticket item of the day. This is the one you all have been waiting for. It is rare and exclusive, with only only one left, it is a one of a kind. Bring it out!" (Auctioneer)

A suited man with a depressed face rolled a metal cart onto the stage. He stopped the cart in front of the Auctioneer. He ripped the white cloth from the hidden item.

"Yes! You may have guessed folks. This is the Elixir of Demon Essence!" (Auctioneer)

A bright light shined down on the small glass bottle filled with a magical black liquid.

"With just one swig any human being will turn into a magical monster, with abilities that of a demon! And to prove of its authenticity we will show a video of a man who drank the only other to exist." (Auctioneer)

All the lights in the theater shut off simultaneously, as a single projector played a video across the entirety of the stage wall.

The audience watched as a man strapped to a chair was forcefully injected with a devilish black fluid. They watched in horror and awe as this man morphed in and out, flowing between monster and human. His face turning with red eyes, and an evil stare. They watched as the torture continued until the human fully turned into a monstrous demon.

Suddenly as the audience sat in disgust and intrigue, the lights flickered back on, to reveal the Auctioneer standing with his arms raised to the sky.

"Yes! What you have just seen is reality! That man was actually turned into a demon. It is quite possibly the strangest and rarest magic to ever be recorded on-camera... Now... It is time for the juicy part. The bidding! The price will start at two million euros!" (Auctioneer)

Like blazing thunder, the crowd got riled up. They raged and poured over this mysterious Demon Essence shouting and raising their pallets high. Meanwhile, Jack and Emma searched below. Crawling from aisle to aisle. Trying to find the hidden bombs holding these raging people hostage.

"Three million! Three and a half! Four million! Six million! Ten million! Twenty million!" (Auctioneer)

As rich hands raised in unison Red sat nervous and infuriated. She watched as the world around her fell in black. As the crowds stood up in an uproar, the prices going higher and higher. the world slowly fell into black. She watched as Jack and Emma ran up to her, holding three gooey balls of magic.

"That magic?" (Red)

"I thought so! It's Frankensteins magic! Their monsters!" (Jack)

Emma handed her gooey orbs to Jack.

"Jack. Throw them onto the stage! Quick!" (Red)

Jack turned to the empty aisles leading up to the crazy stage. He looked up at the Auctioneer, the depressed-looking man next to him. He threw the three balls across the sky, their flesh expanding, growing.

"Red!" (Jack)

"Do it now!" (Emma)

The gooey orbs landed on the stage as Red stood up on her chair. She jumped up in the air, her fingers crossed into a triangle.

"Gates of Ocean and Sky!" (Red)

Four tori gates appeared from the invisible sky above. Appearing from thin air, gigantic in size, colorful in the figure, blue and white, they trapped the two orbs as they expanded into fleshy human monsters.

Jack slowly ran up to the stage as the people in the audience freaked out by this sudden magical monster's arrival.

Jack looked up at the depressed man in the suit. He watched as he stuck out his ring finger, pointing it at the audience.

He pulled out a green mask with his other hand. He covered his face.

"You're the Jack I was told about. And you..." (Green Mask)

He turned to see the Red and Emma standing on the stage. Their hands pointed at the Green Masked Man.

"Such a hassle. I just want to finish this in peace." (Green Mask)

He spoke with a soft depressing tone.

Red turned to the audience as they all stood and sat in shock.

"All of you! Run!" (Red)

The Audience erupted into more pandemonium. As the caged human monsters struggled in their unbreakable Tori gate jail.

Jack jumped onto the stage.

"And you. The masked guy! Put your hand down, or else you will die a horrible death!" (Red)

"My name... My life... It is not needed... Only my magic..." (Green Mask)

He stepped forward. Jack standing in his path. He pointed straight out with his ring finger. He closed his eyes.

Red quickly crossed her fingers into a triangle.

"Gate of Death!" (Red)

She summoned her second most powerful gate in front of Jack. It was black and deathly. A Tori Gate so large that it blocked out the entire auditorium.

The Green Masked Man still pointed straight unwavering. He pointed right through the gate's protective barrier, right past Jack's human shield.

"Fool, this gate blocks even the highest levels of magic." (Red)

He turned with an extestential smile. His grin lost in a lonely rage of sadness and death.

"It's already too late. " (Green Mask)

"What?" (Red)

"Sacred Lands!" (Green Mask)

It happened within seconds. Those two words. Instantaneously.

Every single civilian in the entire theater disappeared. Vanished. Gone without a single trace left behind. Like they had been popped from existence. Even the Auctioneer had disappeared.

The only ones left were Jack, Emma, and Red.

"Wha-" (Emma)

The Green Masked Man fell back in relaxation. With a smile so beautiful and happy.

"How did you..." (Red)

"My magic is weak. But he taught me the ultimate absolute level. He said it was my destiny, that it would all go to plan. Simple... Effective... Worthless..." (Green Mask)

He stood with a slouched look. His eyes layered in bags of sadness. He fell back down onto the wooden stage.

"That's... What did you do with all of them? Are they dead?" (Red)

"No... Simple teleported. But they will soon die. It is their destiny. All their destinies. Yours too. My job is done." (Green Mask)

He looked at his own reflection. He took off his green mask, sighing.

"I don't need this anymore." (Green Mask)

He tossed it across the empty stands, his mask across the empty space.

His face was beautiful and sad. A soft look of depression drew over his eyes.

He sighed again.

Jack ran up and punched him with anger.

"Why didn't you use your magic on us!" (Jack)

"I already said. Absolute destiny." (Green Mask)

He looked at the vial of black blood.

"Your lives are not meant to die by my hands, but instead my actions. To learn and grow. You must face strong opponents. The world hasn't met the full wrath of the monster. It needs to learn, to face a strong opponent." (Green Mask)

"Is your group going to become the opponent to humanity then?" (Red)

"No... Like I said, my job here is done. We are all meaningless. And it's quite sad... I used up all my magic just for this one moment. To send innocents to die. All for a plan I can not see... How sad..." (Green Mask)

"What is this plan you keep talking about?" (Red)

Emma slowly walked over to Jack. She grabbed his hand and pulled him away from Red and the Rogue Sorcerer.

"Jack can we talk over here?" (Emma)

"Uhh... Yeah sure." (Jack)

She pulled him away from the interrogation.

"Our name is The High Tueurs. And our plan is to bring about a change in humanity and to bring about a new age of monsters. You wouldn't understand lady... It's beyond us simple humans... Anyway, that is all I can tell you." (Green Mask)

Red pulled out a small dagger from her purse. She stabbed him in the leg.

"Tell me every detail!" (Red)

"Ahhhggg...! Uhhh... Jeez... Let me go out peacefully... Fine, fine... There's no reason to hide it. It's a suicide mission. And the first step is the take out the Magic Force." (Green Mask)

The depressed man looked up at the exploding human monsters trapped in Red's Tori Gates.

"Those monsters. All of this. We were at first running around the world lost. Our boss found us ravaged and destroyed, our hidden organization in shambles. He brought us up with a promise. But then not so long ago. About three months ago the doctor came. The one with the purple mask. He made a deal with our boss. He told us that our victory would be assured, no matter what. And that we must follow strict guidelines. He told me that I was necessary to this plan... That there were five factors. The location. The elixir. The Sacrifices. The Boss's magic. And Jack..." (Green Mask)

Jack walked back from his conversation with the shy Emma.

"We have some questions for you. If Frankenstein could see the future then why plan all this, why be so elaborate with the monsters and hostages. If you want to take out the Magic Force then why not kill us. This plan seems all over the place and unnecessary." (Jack)

He laughed.

"Unnecessary to you may seem necessary to him. In how I am necessary for this plan, but my life for him is meaningless." (Green Mask)

He stopped laughing.

"But-" (Jack)

Slice!

He slit his own throat. Blood pouring out in waves. Across the wooden stage. His depressed eyes blank and lifeless.

Emma turned away scared, as Jack leaned forward confused and lost in the pouring blood. almost threw up in her own mouth. Red looked at her Tori gate of death that stood blocking out the entire auditorium.

She snapped her fingers releasing the magic to dust.

---

A whole minute passed.

"This is so messed up." (Emma)

"I know." (Jack)

Red looked at the imploding and exploding human monsters. She stared as they wiggled around eachother, their pinkish flesh wiggling and morphing in and out of themselves, trying to break free from this impenetrable invisible cage.

"I feel like we're in way over our heads." (Jack)

He leaned over, reaching into the Green Masked Mans suit pockets.

"I didn't understand a single thing he said." (Emma)

"Neither could I, I felt like he was making up stuff." (Jack)

Red turned around as Jack pulled something from one of the pockets.

"No, I've tortured people before and this guy, he was beyond saving, he was so confident in this plan of his that he killed himself for it. And to even be so confident to just release his secrets without giving it a second thought." (Red)

She looked at what was in Jack's hand.

"That... That truly terrifies me." (Red)

Jack held out a playing card.
