Chapter XVI: "Asking her out"
4 months had passed by and the cast will go back taping for the 4th Season of The Big Bang Theory.
During the four months Jim had to go to New York for another Broadway role, and also he and Mayim had to go to press about the 3rd Season of The Big Bang, and into Comicon.
But the most special moments inside those 4 months is that they became closer and closer, Jim visited Mayim and they got to build a close relationship. Sadly they both didn't know that they are meant for each other or even both of then dont know they have feeling for each other
Jim's POV
"So did you already tell her you love her??" Simon asked
"Well, um.. not yet" I replied
"Gosh, Jim you talked about her like everyday and you didn't tell her yet??" Kunal said
"Well its hard you guys, like what if she don't like me" I said
"Well you will find out if you really tell her what your feeling" Johnny said
"Yeah Jim, you should really tell her, as soon as possible cause you might not even notice she is taken away by another man" Simon said
"Yeah Jim" Kunal added
"Ok I will think about it, but now its your turn to hit" I said pointing to the ball in the billiard table
Tomorrow is the first table read for the 4th Season, and as usual I am gonna be seeing Mayim again hehehe. Me and the boys (Johnny, Kunal, and Simon) are playing pool in my house.
"Hey did you ask her out??" Johnny said hitting ball 6
"Well not yet" I replied
They all stared at me and said
"What!!????"
I just stared at them back in silence
"So are you telling us that you both text and chat and call, but you didn't ask her out yet??" Simon asked
"Yes" I replied in a low voice
"Ohh good Lord, Jim" Kunal said
"Well...um..but..Yeah we are seeing and I hangout with her but I am scared to ask her out" I said
"Pal, ask her out now, like how bout tomorrow or this week ask her out on a date" Johnny said
"Yes and if she says yes then we will help you set up a nice date" Simon said
"Yeah pal we will have your back" Kunal added
"Really guys??" I responded
"Yes of course, this is your official decent 'ask her out on a date' thing, we will obviously help you" Simon said
"Ok, ok I will ask her out within this week, and I will call you guys for backup" I said confidently
"That's our Jim" Johnny said
I am thinking if I regret my decision but there is nothing wrong in asking, and me and Mayim are practically best friends, so what could possibly go wrong?? Right???

Mayim's POV
"Mayim just grab that wine and head upstairs" Kaley said
"Ok ok" I replied
I grabbed the wine and headed upstairs in Kaley's place. It was 8pm and we are having a sleepover in Kaley's place. Well me, Kaley and Melissa are having a sleepover
As I opened the door, Kaley let me sit down, and they both are staring at me like a criminal
like did I do something bad??
"Guys why are you staring at me like that??" I asked in confusion
"Well we are just gonna ask you some question, and this is both are chance. Right Melissa??" Kaley said
"Yeah that's right" Melissa added
"Oh ok so what are those question and stop staring at me like that, your making me guilty of something" I said pouring some wine in our glasses
"So, I just really wanna know Mayim if what is going on between you and Jim, are you both official?? huh" Melissa asked
"Well you both know that I liked him and I am really glad you didn't tell him YET, but no there's nothing going on between us we are just FRIENDS, and besides he liked someone else, and she is perfect and me I am way out of his league" I replied
"Oh, so like texting and calling 24/7 are just friends??" Kaley asked
"Well Kaley and Johnny also text and call and they are just friends" I said
"Well they are different cause you and Jim just met each other" Melissa said
"Yeah she is right" Kaley added
"Well he didn't label us so I guess we are just friends" I said
"But you really want Jim to be your boyfriend, don't you?" Melissa said
"Well of course, but I think that's not gonna happen" I said
They both showed a frown face and cuddled me. I also felt bad that Jim liked another girl but if he is happy then I am also happy, even if that happiness is hurting me.
I never expect that Love is such a powerful emotion within us. It can make you happy and make you sad also, it like a gift and a curse.
We all talked some girl stuff, took some pictures, and headed to sleep cause our first table read will begin tomorrow. We three slept in a king size bed Kaley have, cuddling each other like a some kids, Melissa was the smallest among us so she is between me and Kaley hahaha.
As I was going to sleep my phone popped a notif

Johnny, Simon, and Kunal are now asleep in my room, the three of them are cuddling each other in my not so big bed, so I decided to sleep in a couch inside my room which is also pretty big and grabbed my phone.
Then I opened my messages and decided to text Mayim

I grabbed my phone and it shows the 'one new message: Jim Parsons' I immediately opened it
Jim: Hey Mayim! How's your day, Johnny mentioned that you and Melissa are in Kaley's place having a girls night out, well the boys are also in my place. I hope your girls night out went well, and I also hope your ok :-)
My heart was racing, like he really send me sweet messages and he is making me fall in love for him much more. He is literally killing me inch by inch, so I responded immediately, well texting him is not that like I prepare for, cause we have been texting for the past 4 months so we both speak casually now.

I put my phone in my chest while waiting for her response, and as soon as it vibrated I immediately opened my phone
Mayim: Hi Jim!!! yes I am currently in Kaley's, I also hope you had a fun boys night out and I am fine and ok, also glad to receive a text from you. And also excited for tomorrow, so go to sleep now cause we have a big day tomorrow :)
I blushed and turn red receiving those sweet words from Mayim. I immediately respond cause I don't to keep her waiting

My phone quickly vibrate and I immediately opened it and
Jim: Yeah we have a big day tomorrow and I am looking forward to see you tomorrow miss Mayim. Goodnight and Sweet Dreams :)
My heart melt and quickly responded

Mayim: Goodnight to you too Mr. Parsons, and sweet dreams :)
I turned my cellphone off and placed it to my chest, feeling the sensation that Mayim is hugging me. I Love Her so much and day by day my courage of asking her out and telling my feelings for her is getting higher and higher.

Mayim's POV
I woke up Melissa hugging me and Kaley hugging Melissa, we three are real close hehehe. I slowly get out of bed without giving them a clue hehehe. I headed downstairs and made some morning coffee while Kaley's maids are making breakfast, I walked out to Kaley's balcony to enjoy the fresh air.
After a few hour, I finished my coffee and headed upstairs to wake Melissa and Kaley up.
I opened the curtains to let the bright sun get into their face to wake them up
"Rise and shine princess, breakfast is ready and we have work at 9am and its already 7:30 so wakey wakey" I said
"Goodmorning Mayim" Melissa said
"Goodmorning Melissa" I replied
"Mayim help me up please" Kaley said in a cute voice
"Ok sure" I said helping her to get up
We three enjoyed our breakfast, and fixed ourselves up, then headed out for work. We three drove our cars and headed to the studio.

Jim's POV
"Wakey wakey lover boy, we have work today" Johnny said
I got up and headed down with him, and stared blankly outside while eating breakfast with them
"Earth to Jim" Simon said snapping his fingers
"Why are you so low today did something happen?" Kunal asked
"Well I am still thinking what day am I gonna ask her and how" I replied
"You will know pal, just remember we all our one call away if you need us to prepare" Johnny said
"Thank guys" I said
We continued to eat then I took a shower, picked an outfit and headed outside
After a few minutes we all drove out to the studio but stopped to a flower shop and they all stopped to and helped me pick up some flowers to Mayim, Johnny and Simon also picked up some
flowers

We arrived at the studio and immediately headed to our dressing room, Mark was there but with a girl
"Hey Mark, um may I ask who this is??" I said
"Oh Mayim this is Kathy your new P.A for today, I am still gonna be with you but just as your manager. Kathy will organize your schedule and be with you often" he said
"Hi Miss Mayim I am so excited to work with you" she greeted
"So I shall leave you both cause I still have a meeting this 9:30 so bye Mayim" Mark said kissing me in the cheek
I sat beside her and we both talked about each other, and she asked me about what I like and dont taking down notes to my words, its a bit weird but she is new so she better know me. I grabbed the script which is place in the desk I work. Then there is a knock on my door

We arrived at the studio, and walked in with a bouquet of flower in my hand. I entered my dressing room with it and as expected Amanda is there.
"Hi Jim, oh that's so sweet of you Jim" she said staring at the flowers I am holding
"Oh hi Amanda, but this is not for you" I said
Her face turned from excitement to sadness and confusion
"So who are they for???" she asked
"Oh these are for a special girl and its none of your business, so can you take my bag and highlight my script for me??" I said handing him my bag
"Wait-um-"
"Thank you so much!! Love You" I said heading out the room
I was walking to Mayim's room felt really excited to see her and also nervous at the same time, but before I reached there Kaley was standing outside her room, so I stopped

I opened the door and saw Kaley
"Hi Kaley, what's up?" I asked
"Oh Johnny told me to let you out of your room for just a sec" she said
"For what?" I asked
"I also don't know but maybe its a surprise" she said
So I stepped out of my dressing room and she placed me in the center, just wrapping her hands around mine
"So what now??" I asked
"You will see just wait" she said

I hid in a corner
"Hey what are you doing here??" Johnny said
"Um, Kaley is in Mayim's front door" I said
"So what??" he asked
"Well I am scared" I said
"Gosh Jim, Mayim is now outside trust me now go there and give her this lovely flowers" he said giving me some confidence
"Ok, thank you for the motivation pal" I replied
"Come on, come with me cause I am also gonna give this to her so she wont be jealous, and throw a tantrum at me" He said
We both walked and I turned in the corner where Mayim's dressing room is I saw her standing there with Kaley and she was really beautiful
She was wearing a nice stripped shirt with some jeans, its just simple but the one who is wearing it is special. My heart i racing while I was walking towards her and as I reach there, I stood infront of her and said
"Hey Mayim! Um Good Morning, this is for you. Hope this will make your day" I said with a heart racing
"Oh, this is so thoughtful of you, it really made my day"she said
pulling me into hug, I hugged her back and it really just made my morning, she pulled away then smiled at me once again, then walk away slowly
And my brain was like
Um should I ask her out already?
Like on a dinner
Jim for god sake say it already!!!
So I shouted "Mayim!" I ran closer to her
"Jim?" she said
"Um..uh...I was thinking"
"Thinking of what??"
"Like I was thinking about"
"Jim just say it like we have been friends for a while now so you don't have to be worried" she said
"Um I was thinking about, maybe you wanna go out with me??" I said, with a heart pumping up to the sky, wishing she would say yes
"Oh that's what your gonna say??" she asked
"Um Yes" I replied
"Well, sure, why not" She said
And my inner self was dancing and partying inside
"Oh great, um so are you available Friday night??" I asked
"Um yeah, Friday night sounds good" she said
"Great!! So I shall pick you up, Friday night??" I said
"Yeah, sure" she replied
"Great, just great, so........" I
paused cause I don't have anything to say
"See you this Friday night Jim and we still have table read so I think you must prepare. And thank you for this flowers it really just made my day" she said
She leaned closer to me and whispered
"Thank You and See you this Friday night Mr. Parsons"
then she kissed me in the cheek, and I watch her close her door
I was really melting and it was just overwhelming that she said yes. But her whisper moments like really make me fall in love to her even more, she really sounds sexy when she whisper in my ear.
I turned around and Johnny looked at me gave me a thumbs up. I was really happy and I walked back to my dressing room

I leaned back in my door smelling the flowers he gave me and my heart still racing up,I cant even breath. I cant believe he asked me out!!! like my inner self is literally screaming right now.
"Miss Mayim are you ok?" Kathy asked
"Oh yes Kathy, um can you put this flower in a vase?" I said
"Yes sure but its almost time for your table read so you better head downstairs" she said
"Oh yeah, thank you for reminding me" I said
"Oh here is your script don't forget about this, and don't worry about the flower cause when you get back here this would be in a good place" she said
"Aww thank you really, see you later" I said
I stepped out of my room and headed downstairs, Melissa walked with me, and eventually Kaley joined us
"Hey did Jim really asked you out???" Kaley asked in excitement
"Jim asked Mayim out!????" Melissa asked shouting
"Guys please keep it down" I said
"Oh sorry, but did he really asked you out?? like really??" Kaley asked
"Well yeah, I assumed you didnt heard it earlier cause we are a distance apart but yeah, he did really ask me out on a date" I said blushing
"OMG!!!!! Yieeeeee, we are so so happy for you Mayim!!!!" They both screamed in excitement
"Oh ok guys now keep it down seriously, but thank you" I said
"So where is he taking you??" Melissa asked
"Well he didn't say anything but being with him is enough for me" I said
"Aweeeeee, you both are real cute and you both are meant for each other" Kaley said
"Maybe your the girl he is talking about Mayim, maybe you are the one he loved, he liked" Melissa said
"Oh hehehe" I said blushing
But it really made me think that way when he asked me out, like what if I was the girl he was talking about.
Like the girl he liked, the girl he loved, but I don't wanna assume cause what if I am not and it will make my pain more severe, so I should just wait for him to tell me.
If I was the one then great if I am not then it is still ok cause if he is happy then I am also happy.

I was really happy she said yes, I entered my dressing room and get the script then headed downstairs. I got to the table read and the boys was there already
"So?? Did you really asked her out?" Simon asked
"Well yes" I replied
"Then???" Kunal asked staring at me
"Well she said Yes!" I responded
They both sighed at relief while Johnny is just looing at them smiley
"So what are your plans??" Simon asked
"Well that's why I need your help guys, I don't know hat to do and this is my first time going on a decent date" I said looking really worried
"Well luckily you have us" Kunal responded
"Well enough of the chit chat boys, we are gonna have are table read" Steve Molaro said
"Oh of course Steve" Johnny said
So we all sat down, and I saw Mayim Oh my Gosh!! she is effortlessly making me fall inlove of her

So the table read had passed and it was nice, well I keep on staring at Jim if he wont look at my direction cause he is just so f*cking handsome, like urghhhh.
And a few days passed by and it was Thursday, so Kaley decided that we should have another sleepover so that they will fit me and give me tips on you know "First Dates". So of course I said yes and told me to be there at exactly 7pm.
So in Thursday the last on screen rehearsals was finished and we have a break for Friday cause we are gonna be performing at Saturday so it Friday was a pretty good day to go out on a date.
I packed some stuffs and drove to Kaley's place where she told me to go upstairs immediately, and enter her room cause Melissa is already there.
"Mayim! what took you so long??" Kaley asked as I entered our sleepover room
"Kaley its 7:01, I am not practically late" I said
"Ok now take of your clothes cause we need to find an outfit for your date" Melissa said
"Oh, ok" I said putting my bag in the corner and undressing myself
"So do you already know where are young going??" Kaley asked
"Well I don't really know" I said
"Um do you know the theme, cause maybe its a formal date?? a casual?? or a beach?? like what is the theme??" Melissa asked
"I don't know either" I responded
They both sighed heavily, and I just smiled there cause I really don't have a clue on where are we going, and what kind of date is he taking me
"Oh dear we need to work overnight for you" Kaley said
"Yeah, I think I gotta call Simon" Melissa said
"Yeah you should probably call him and ask about this date" Kaley said
"Why do we need Simon??" I asked
"Well dear, Simon is also helping Jim for this date" Kaley said
"Yeah, me and Simon talked the other day and that were I knew he is also helping him" Melissa added
"Oh ok" I said
"Hello, Sime, um can I ask you about something??" Melissa said having Simon on the other line
"Um what is he theme of you know, Jim and Mayim's date"
"Oh, ok good, and send my regards to Jim, bye"
*call ended*
"So?? What is the theme??" Kaley asked
"Simon said that it would be just a casual date, so we should pick Mayim one of the nicest casual outfits you have there Kaley" Melissa said
"Ok, Mayim lets go to work" Kaley said grabbing my arm

"So where is Simon??" I asked
"Relax he will be here soon, he said he is on his way" Kunal said
"Jim just sit down here and relax, we planned this and this will be good" Johnny added
"This better be good" I said and sat down my couch
After a few minutes
"Ok guys sorry to keep you waiting but I have the full plan of this date" Simon said
"So can I see it already??" I said excitedly
"Now hold on there cowboy, we will be presenting it to you. Boys come up here" Simon said
They all stood up and began to present there plan
"So we gathered some information of what Mayim likes and dislikes, from you, Kaley and Melissa" Simon said
"So you said that Mayim loves the beach, and nature" Kunal said
"Kaley told me that Mayim likes sweet and spicy foods" Johnny said
"And Melissa told me that she is just a pretty casual lady who just love to embrace things around her" Simon added
"So we come up with the plan of a having a destination date" they said
"Oh fascinating, now tell me what this is all about" I replied
"So this date will be starting at 11pm, so eating lunch, then after eating lunch take Mayim to an amusement park, and finish it off by taking her to the Malibu beach and enjoy the sunset with her. Then maybe you can cook for her here in your house for dinner or maybe at her place, its for you to decide" they said
"Wow this is a really nice plan and thank you for this guys" I said
*phone ringing*
"Oh I gotta take this call guys, hold on a second" Simon said
"Hello, Melis, what's up?" Simon said
"Oh its just gonna be a casual date"
"Oh ok nice, bye"
"Was that Melissa??" Johnny asked
"Yeah" Simon said
"What did she ask for??" I said
"Oh before I almost forgot you need to pick an outfit, cause she is asking about the theme of the date so that she can help Mayim pick an outfit" Simon said
"Yeah that is right, cause you don't wanna look dumb infront of her" Kunal said
"So come on lets get you a hot outfit" Johnny added
"Ok" I replied then we all headed upstairs to pick an outfit and to have some tips
