Chapter 09 Re-Planning Ahead

After the long night outside the servant quarter, Mellisa drag her body to rest; refusing to think much into her newfound ability or more concerning matter for a fact that she's a hybrid.

'What are you up to at this time?' Alexander quietly observing her behind the largest tree. The dark night doesn't hinder his enchanced eyes

Then he caught a glimpse of a shining stone, instantly recognizing it as an awakening stone.

'Oh?' Alexander grinned, he caught her peculiar behavior because that thing is not a mere maid would have.

Alexander knew that the mana energy swirling around her was the sole cause of the restless nature. She probably in pain, as her whole body shaking; but, not once she let out pained sound.

Halting her work, Mellisa blank eyes stare at the air, while leaning herself on the Gazebo Pillar at the center of the garden; far from prying eyes as Mr. Boule already left to bring more fertilizer. Holding a grass scissor on her right hand to trim the uneven bush after unatended for two days; Mellisa left with quite spare time to spent leisurely.
