Forgotten

Allen had changed into a new set of clothes, still thinking about the words Atlas has said to him. All that ran through his mind was 'Is it really okay to forget about my morals?'

"Allen! Have you eaten? If you have, we're departing soon. We really need to return as soon as we can." Octavian said, rushing over to Allen who was daydreaming, staring out of the window.

"Right." Allen said, looking at Octavian.

"Atlas told me." Octavian suddenly said.

Allen nodded than drifted off to the scenery outside the window. "What if I forget who I really am if I put my morals behind me?

"Nothing in life is ever fixed. Ask yourself, are those really your morals or does your past force those morals on you?" Octavian replied with a friendly smile.

"That man yesterday, is he a worker under Lord Satan?" Allen suddenly said, unintentionally changing the topic.

Octavian eyes widened as he let out a sigh of suprise. "How..did you know?"

Allen didn't reply but nodded instead, making his way towards the exit, walking along the path and opening the carriage door. "I'm set to go." he said to the frozen Octavian.

"Right, I'll get Atlas." Octavian replied, walking away.

"What even are morals?" Allen wondered out loud, looking outside the window.

All of the three Drakos siblings eventually arrived in the kingdom, where the gates opened, revealing a mountain of villagers staring at the carriage and cheering, some were shocked, some were curious, some were unbothered.

"All these people are here to see if the fourth prince made it back safe and sound." the carriage driver in the front said when he had seen Allen's confused expression.

"Right." Allen replied coldly as he pulled the curtains to cover the window.

Octavian looked worriedly at Allen before sighing and looking out at his side of the carriage window, smiling and waving at the villagers.

"What are you going to do when you get back to the upperworld?" Atlas suddenly asked Allen.

"Attend the Academy as to fufil my end of the task." Allen replied.

"What else?" Atlas pressured.

"We'll discuss the other details in the future." Allen said, ending the conversation as he got off the carriage when it reached the castle.

The castle gates opened, revealing a familiar scenery, Allen felt this moment was exactly like deja vu, the first time he had entered the castle vicinity, he was also overwhelmed by the surprisingly scenic view.

Just this time, Allen wasn't as excited to see the garden, he followed the path and walked, ignoring the guards hording around him but still keeping a fair distance.

Until, a knight with obsidian like armor walked up to him, head held high, carrying a sword, looking at Allen, he knelt down with respect.

Obsidian armor in the Drakos Kingdom meant that they belonged to the Imperial Knights that solely protected the Drakos. The Imperial Knights are to be feared as they are the core of the Kingdom's defence, meaning that they were all extremely strong.

"Welcome home, Allen." Andres said, with a huge bright smile plastered over his gentle face, his green eyes showing warmth and comfort.

Allen stared down at the person below him for a while, before staring even more. Hid head started throbbing as his mind ran through countless memories. "Who are you?" he asked coldly.

Andres eyes widened in shock as he dropped his sword, he turned his head and looked at Octavian who had a guilty look on his face. "Prince Allen, do you not remember me?" he asked, his tone getting louder.

Without saying anything, Allen turned away from the knight and continued walking towards the door, before opening it, he looked behind to see the unfamiliar knight, looking defeated.

Atlas walked passed Andres swiftly, leaving Octavian behind to explain the situation. He rushed after his brother and grabbed him by the shoulder. "Follow me, I'll take you to the throne room."

Soon, they reached a gigantic room with pillars that shined brilliantly along with flora growing on them, the celling covered in intricate designs.

In the front of the room, there sat a figure who was asserting a malicious aura, this even made Atlas gasp abit as he held Allen back by grabbing his wrist.

"Dad." Atlas said his eyes staring at the figure.

"Come, if you dare." The king said, looking at Allen with cold eyes that seemed to be scanning him.

Allen walked infront with Atlas still holding his wrist. When he reached closer, he felt like his whole body was being crushed.

Allen and the king stared at each other, neither of them backing down. "You can stop your testing, you're freaking Atlas out." he said.

"Sharp as ever, even the Kruls couldn't blunt your blade." the king provoked with a smile.

Allen flinched as he look up to the man, "What's the point you're trying to make here?" he said, giving the king a death glare.

The king looked at Allen before snickering, "You can go rest and we'll meet at my office later. We have alot to discuss." his voice turning more serious now as he tapped on the stacks of paper beside him.

"My room, where is it?" Allen asked, turning to Atlas.

"You..don't remember?" Atlas asked worriedly, he wasn't too suprised but he wanted to really clarify Allen's condition.

"There's fragments here and there of my memory missing." Allen remarked as he sighed once again as his head throbbed.

"We'll ask Lawrence about it later, he's not here in the capital currently." Atlas said, leading Allen to his room that was cleaned the day the Drakos heard the news that he was alive.

"Who's Lawrence?" Allen suddenly asked, pausing in his tracks, he held his head down with his hands over his ears. This time a sharp pain sparked through his entire head.

Atlas looked back with a surprised look, Lawrence was the person he had least expected Allen to ever forget since he had always speak of the doctor so fondly.

"Allen, do you really not reme-" before Atlas finished his sentence, he heard a thud on the floor.

Allen was sitting down leaning on the wall, sweat dripping down his forehead, his hand covering his head. "Lawrence..?" he mumured, sounding slightly nervous.
