I was screaming, only, no sound came out. I was shivering but it wasn't that cold. I was breathing hard but it wasn't enough.
I wasn't in the Hurst Mansion anymore. I was in the back of a car. Someone was holding my hand. I tried to pull out but the other hands just grabbed mine tighter.
"Are you awake now?" The voice I had dreaded for so long loomed over me. I cringed at it and moved far back only to hit the cold wall of the car against my skin. I heard him chuckle softly under his breath. I fumbled around in my dress to bring out the blades but they were gone.
"C'mon now. Do you really think you could hurt me even if you had the blades?"
"Why are you here, Liam?" I forced my voice steady and faced him.
"You called for me. How could I not come?" He smiled an almost sincere smile, a smile I would have fallen for had I not known better.
"I didn't," I replied in defiance. My disgust for him was bubbling. I wanted to go as far from him as possible.
