The break up

We are in May now and we just finished our finals I was happy because I'm super tired and I can't wait for summer break to get some rest.

"Hey babe" Chase said before giving me a kiss

"Hi" I said with a smile

"How are you?"

"Tired, how are you?"

"I'm great, let's get you home so that you can get some sleep" he said

Throughout the car ride to my house all I do is sleep.

After reaching home I headed straight to bed because I was tired, after sleeping for about 3 hours I woke up and the first thing I did was rushed to the bathroom and throw up everything that I've eaten the previous day.

After throwing up I heading to the kitchen to take my medication's and got something to eat before heading back to my room to text chase.

'Hey babe I hope you are feeling better now after sleeping'

'Yes, I'm feeling better, how are you?'

'I'm great and have you eaten?'

'Yes, I have and i got to go I'm still a little bit tired'

'Ok babes feel better'

after reading his message I put my phone on charge and headed to bed.

For the entire weekend all I do is sleep and eat and repeat

by the time Monday comes along I don't feel as tired as I was through the weekend my friends came over in the evening to start getting ready for prom.

"Mara you are gaining some weight" Kelsey said

"Yeah, I've seen that too" stated Keri

"Yeah, I've realized maybe because I'm eating a lot and always sleeping because of these medications" I stated

" Yeah, we know but have you told Chase about your conditions?" Kelsey asked

"No have not and maybe I won't" I said

"No don't do that because if he finds out from someone else it's gonna be really bad" Keri said

"Guy's your right I'll do it after graduation" I said

And I know you guys are wondering why you are talking to Keri while after I found out about the situations between her and Chase are fake and stuffs, we become good friends and she started dating Tavon, they are so cute together.

After we finished getting ready the guy's come and pick us up.

After taking a dozen photos together we headed out.

The prom was fun and all I didn't drink anything because I didn't feel like it all I do is dance the night away.

The following morning, I woke up super early because of nerves I still can't believe that I'm leaving high school as a 17-year-old I can't believe that I'm about to start a new life going off to college and leaving most of my friends behind and my boyfriend, but we will try and make the long-distance thing work.

Arriving at school I quickly took my seat.

I was so glad that its over I'm officially not a high scholar no more.

All my friends are planning on coming over tonight to celebrate our graduation and so on.

"Margaret, we need to have a talk" my parents stated

"What's wrong?" I asked before taking a seat in front of them

"When are you gonna tell Chase you have sickle anemia and there is a chance that you won't be able to have any kids?" the asked

"When th-" I was suddenly cut off before I could even finish

"When were you gonna tell me huh?" Chase asked and I could hear the hurt in his voice

"I was going to tell you I swear"

"No, you weren't if I didn't walk in on this conversation I wouldn't have known now, would I?" he asked with tears in his eyes

"OfCourse I was going to tell you I was waiting on the right time" I said crying

"The right time? anytime would have been the right time but no you just didn't want me to know and do your friends know?" he asked

"Yes, they know" I said

"Oh, so they can know about you being terribly sick, but I can't?" he asked sounding disappointed

"That's not it"

"Is it that's why when you're feeling tired, they are always concerned?"

"Yes but-"

"No buts and I can't do this anymore"

"Wait what are you saying?"

"I'm breaking up with you I can't be with someone who lies about things like this I wonder what else you have lied about" he said before walking out

I broke down and cried after hearing what he had to say. I told my parents to tell my friends that I am not feeling well, and they should go home.

That night I cried myself to sleep the next morning I had high fever from all the crying and a huge migraine
