Patricia and Rowan summarized the situation in Naskac for me. The entire situation makes it quite problematic. It's certainly not something that can be easily solved.
Leonardo. The King of the Dark Elf nation, Naskac. The pillar on the side of the royals.
Wilfred. The Duke has heavy influence over Naskac, some underhanded methods as well. The pillar on the side of the nobles.
According to multiple sources, it's stated that Leonardo and Wilfred were friends a long time ago. The two studied and fought together in wars. People often said that the two had an unbreakable bond because of how strong of a companionship they had with each other.
Unfortunately, an incident occurred during a war the two both enlisted to fight in. Nobody knows what happened but when the two came back victorious, they distanced themselves from everyone else. There are baseless rumors going around with speculation and theories on what happened between the two, though no one truly uncovered the hate they have against each other.
Patricia and Rowan told Rudif and me that we only have a little bit of time before all hell breaks loose and Wilfred starts taking more drastic actions. It's an upcoming civil war between Dark Elves in Naskac. Some Dark Elves are even finding another country to settle in for a while and some neighboring nations promised Naskac that they will open up their doors to accept them when the time comes.
Truthfully, I think Duke Wilfred and the King should come together to talk things out. If everything was just a misunderstanding or it's another person's plot to take over the throne, then Naskac would be wasting its resources and men all while weakening the nation as a whole for another to swallow up in the midst of their internal strife. I've seen this far too many times. In fact, I was even the prime instigator for such events.
The two told me that they're expecting Duke Wilfred to start something in about a decade or so. That's simply because Dark Elves live longer and tend to be more careful and patient with their actions. That's plenty of time for me to power myself up to fend off attackers.
Though, Rowan and Patricia refused immediately when I offered them help. In fact, they told me that when it's time, I should leave Naskac and explore the neighboring kingdoms on my own. To be honest, that sounds great, I just felt I should return the favor to the ones who provided me the basic necessities.
Well, even if they decline my help, I'll return eventually. With all of the foundations laid, if war were to occur, it would be quite a long-lasting one. I'll have enough time to explore a nearby nation and come back to help Patricia and Rowan settle their dispute.
All of the aforementioned, I managed to sum up and explain to the mutt as we were at the training grounds with Calamno.
"So do you understand?"
Rudif nodded slowly, "Kinda. There are bad guys but we will leave and come back in time to beat them up!"
I patted Rudif on the head and his tail wagged around.
"Good job, mutt."
Calamno loomed over us, "Would be a shame if I told of your plans to my daughter."
"Shut it old man, I'm sure you'll stay quiet. This interests you doesn't it?"
The old man smiled, "It does indeed. I'm curious what you can do after a few years have passed. Typical Humans are short-lived but have great learning potential."
"We'll see how far I get. By the time I return, I'll make sure that the war will be over faster than it started."
"Hoh~ I'll be surprised if you haven't died while at a neighboring nation."
I smirked, this damn old man. "I'll be shocked if I come back to see you doing politics."
"Tch, humans. I would be the astonished one to find out you haven't lost a limb or two."
"Wanna bet on that, old man?"
"No need, I know I'll win."
"Your confidence is as great as your ignorance."
"You little-"
Rudif looked back and forth as he watched the two of us bicker, "G-guys, I don't want any of us to get hurt!"
I looked at Rudif and flicked his forehead, "No one is going to get into any life-threatening situations. Have you even SEEN their strength? The only ones who have a chance to die are me, you, or the rabbit."
Calamno muttered something that I chose to ignore.
Though, I'll have to start learning as fast as possible. In order to even get started on learning PROPER magic spells of this world. I'm sure the core principles of the types of magic are similar, if not, the same as my previous world. One thing that does separate the two worlds' magic is the activation.
Magic in my old world required us to mentally envision a "formula" for the mana inside of us. As it circulates through our body, using the said formula, we draw runes with our mana to conjure spells.
Magic in this world is several folds simpler, however, much harder to control. Meaning, it'll be better off to have greater control rather than having high amounts of mana. To cast spells, all one really needs is to put the mana through a "tube". That "tube" will cause whatever mana goes inside, to come out as a spell.
To give you some sort of visual on that: Imagine you're pouring water through several objects.
Water that is poured through a straw will come out accurately and slowly.
Water that is poured through a can with many holes at the bottom will come out fast and in many areas.
Assume that in this sense, water is our mana and what we choose our object to be, is basically our "formula" that decides what magic type will be chosen. Of course, the amount of mana we have is important when deciding some factors of our spell such as its power or size as a few examples.
All in all, it's about how well you can properly control your magic. The greater your control, the higher your chances of utilizing more advanced types of magic.
Calamno waved his hands in front of my face, "Asher?"
"Sorry, what were you saying?"
"Ahem, I was trying to tell you that we should continue on with our training."
"Ah, right...Let us continue with that."

Hi there! I have no name but please refer to me by my given nickname, Alpha. I am a happy Overseer overseeing my part of the universe! No, that was not sarcasm. I'm genuinely happy! I'm going to be frank with you, have you ever met stubborn people who are ridiculously strong as well?
I have MANY times and oh boy, I just want to say for the record: The CCO, Creator's Council of Overseers, has no bad intentions when they offer you a gift!
Fortunately, that Castor lad wasn't TOO stubborn. I mean, I get how he wanted to respect his disciples but...man, just accept the CCO's present already! It's not every day that we send off a reincarnated mortal.
That aside, I'm really glad that Castor didn't rebel too much. I think he was quite understanding of my position. Of course, I transformed into a respectable figure in his world to show my authority and all, but he was generally a pretty nice guy.
Hopefully, he's not trying to raise an army to conquer the world in the Earth Copy I sent him to...
That wouldn't be good.

"Ah- Achoo~!"
"Someone talking behind your back, Asher?", Calamno says.
I was sitting down on the grass training my control over mana. Who knew I would sneeze out of nowhere.
"Impossible," I replied, "I don't even know anyone except you guys. Surely, it's not Patricia and Rowan?"
I shrugged it off.

Right! I believe he won't do such a thing! Off to see another mortal! It's always fun flying through space and watching countless stars and planets zoom right past your peripheral vision. It's exhilarating too!
Ah, here we are.
A planet that once used to be lively and now, there's barely a speck of noise. Life on this planet seems gloomy. I got closer to the planet and went to the mortal that I was tasked to watch over.
Where is she? Ah, there she is, you can't mistake her from this distance. Not with her presence. She reminds me a lot of Castor.
This planet is currently in the era of the "dark ages". Ruined kingdoms ravaged by war, towns, and villages burnt down. Some places started to grow moss and vines from how long they've been deserted. The last time I've seen this place, it was teeming with life. How unfortunate, I'll have to note this down as a planet that needs to be reborn.
Reborn is a nicer word that just means: boom.
After the planet explodes, any Overseer can come along and remake it from scratch. Then it's just like giving birth to a baby; you wait for a while until life starts blossoming like a wildfire.
I traveled to a tall mountainside cliff with a dark castle built upon it. Just from looking at it, it seemed impenetrable. What marvelous and unique architecture! I decided to take my time and enter through the front gates.
Oh my...
Goodness me...
I didn't even need to knock on the gigantic gates that protected this massive fortress. It was already broken and half-opened. Thousands of bodies were scattered all throughout the area. I don't think the grass is supposed to be dark red. Just a hunch but...I think that's blood.
As I entered the main castle, the large and spacious hallways were also crowded with bodies. Windows were broken and glass shards on the beautiful carpet were soaked in blood.
How morbid!
Ah, I should take an appearance. Let's go with something mysterious!
I transformed myself into a pitch-black humanoid creature that wore a fancy white fabric coat. I also decided on a gray dress shirt as well as its matching pants. I wore a black trilby hat and poked two holes and a curve on my face. I snapped my fingers; now I had a set of neon white eyes and an equally white smile.
Creepy, but also definitely mysterious.
I walked into the throne room and once again, saw a familiar scene of bodies lying everywhere. So far, all the corpses were wearing armor and wielding weapons. The grand throne room had several decorated pillars supporting the high ceiling. A beautiful red carpet led up to the magnificent golden throne embellished with beautifully carved rubies.
There were a few corpses with different colored capes lying right below the steps that went up to the throne.
Sitting on that very throne was an absolutely stunningly angelic girl with long black platinum hair. She wore a black corset with a kinda long black skirt. She would be MORE angelic if there weren't splatters of blood all over her...perhaps it's a cultural fashion choice?
I doubt it...but I've seen lots of strange...preferences.
She sat leisurely on her throne, with an expression that had a mix of disappointment and depression. Her arms wrapped around a large black scythe. Her lovely white skin was a perfect match for her bewitching and captivating face. Those light pink eyes glowed under the moonlight that shined through the large circular window over the throne.
I walked closer and bowed, going on one knee.
"Greetings, your highness."
I smiled.
