Chapter IV - (Part II)

3rd Person POV:

Spencer, while in his quarters has a vision of him, and his mom's final moments together. Tears shed from his eyes as he goes through the vision, he gets to the point of his mom dying before he snaps out of it. Spencer goes to find Obi-Wan, and Arius.

"Master where is Arius?" He asked while looking for a place to sit.

"It appears she is still in her quarters. It's best if we leave her alone." Obi-Wan replied.

She looked at her helmet, it was a bit cracked in the eye slit, but she was hesitant to put it back on as the air hissed and it attached to her face. She then put her Sentinel guard robes on since the Jedi wanted her to wear them, they were white with streaks of gold, she then walked outside, sighing in a computerized tone. Finally meeting up with Obi-Wan and Spencer.

"Hey there you are!" He said while showing her where she can sit.

"Yeah... Thanks," She replied in a tired voice as she sat down slowly.

"Look about me probing your mind... I'm sorry it was wrong for me to do that." He said while looking for his sabers.

"It's fine..." She replied, sitting there awkwardly, tapping a button on her helmet as it turned the light on so she could see better inside the helmet.

"Might I ask, why do you wear that helmet?" He said in a confused tone.

"I like wearing it...?" She replied, a bit confused as well.

"Okay... Look what I got." He said while pointing at the clone armor on his arms and upper chest.

"Huh, nice.. Wait- they didn't just stitch your arms back together?..." She asked, looking at his metallic arm.

"No even though we found the arms Waxer though it would be best if I got metallic arms instead." He said, trying to cover them up.

"They look pretty cool," She joked a bit.

"You can make jokes? I thought there was no fun or funny part of you." He said shocked by the joke.

She growled under her breath and sighed.

"No... I can make jokes, I threw him out of the ship once," She replied, pointing at Obi-wan.

"Really?" He replied

"Yeah, he was being annoying," She replied.

Spencer pointed to his shoulders showing Arius a symbol representing a clone battalion.

"It says I am the leader of the 377th attack battalion." He said while showing her his right shoulder.

"That's interesting," She replied, fixing her one shoulder pads.

"Would you like to join me, and my battalion." He asked.

"If I join you, then that would mean I would have to leave my squad, unless it's alright if they join as well?..." She asked in a computerized voice.

"They can join too, we can use all the men we can get." He responded.

"Let me call them over then," She replied, touching buttons on her gauntlet as a holo-gram appeared of an inferno trooper.

"Halo, Shatter Squad is joining the 377th attack battalion, go make sure Kass isn't getting himself killed right now," She replied as Halo nodded and ran off.

Spencer has a vision, falls to the ground immediately after. Passes out, and something falls out of his pocket. It's a picture of him and his mom.

"What is this?" Obi-Wan said lifting it up and showing Arius.

"A photo..? And uh Spencer?... Are you alive? Do you have Schizophrenia like me?.." She asked in a computerized voice, sitting down on the floor next to him

"Hmmm? Yeah I guess I do, but it has never happened before." He said while trying to get up.

"Here," She replied, helping him up as she jumped up, hitting her head on the ceiling again as the door opened.

"Sir, we're joining the 377th battalion?" Kass asked, a weird pot on his head.

"Kass... You have a kriffin pot on your head..." She groaned, facepalming her helmet as she sighed.

"Haha, pothead," The ARC trooper laughed as the commando growled.

"Who's the leader of the 377th sir?" The really tall Inferno trooper asked.

"That's him, that's Spencer, and Spencer, meet Kass, the Commando, that's Hawk, the ARC trooper, and that's Halo, the inferno trooper," She introduced.

"Hello guys I'm glad to meet y'all." He said with joy.

"Same with us sir..." Halo said, towering over him.

"You... Are tall." He said while stuttering

"Is that a problem Sir?" He asked.

"No not at all." He responded

"What's the plan General?" Kass asked Spencer as he kept the pot on his head.

"We're going to Geonosis to put a stop to the production of the droid army." He said while pushing buttons on his gauntlet to pull up a map of the factory.

"Oh the bug planet..." Arius sighed.

"Is there a problem with that?" He said assertively.

"Hey I'm probably the same rank as you so don't act like you're older than me- wait-" She realized as she slumped and stayed quiet.

"What's wrong?" He said.

"You are older than me..." She said in a computerized voice.

"Yeah I am so please if you have an issue with me choosing our mission do let me know." He said.

"Nope... No problem, just don't go near the Silver system," She growled.

"Okay, I won't." He replied.

Spencer hears his comlink go off, he goes to check who it is, it's his Clone commander Ratchet.

"We're ready to take off." Ratchet said.

"Copy that." He replied

"I'll be- right- back-," She said, stuttering as she walked fast back to her quarters.

"Okay, I will wait for you on the ship." He said walking in the other direction.

"Sir- wait," Halo said, hitting his head on the doorway as he ran to catch up with her.

"Oh geez, another episode?..." Kass asked Hawk as he nodded.

"Look y'all figure this out I will meet you guys on Geonosis." He said boarding the ship.

"Sorry, I'm back," She replied, walking back with Halo as she jumped onto the ship with her Squad.

Spencer gives the signal for take off and the group are on their way to Geonosis.

"So uh... This is awkward," Kass said, trying to break the silence as Halo huffed, sighing as he facepalmed his helmet.

"Here we go..." Hawk said as Kass started to do weird and funny things.

"Sir we're coming up on Geonosis." The pilot said.

"Okay set us down over there." He said, pointing to an old republic outpost.

"Looks cozy sir." Ratchet said while walking to the briefing room.

Spencer looks for the button to turn on the holo-map of the factory. Turning it on he tells his team where they're going to

attack.

"Ratchet you and Hawk will go and scout out the area, me, Arius, Kass, and Halo will flank around bringing a few squads with us, the rest of you will go set up on the old FOB's, and wait for orders. Good Luck." He said while putting red dots on the map to show the main points they need to cover.

"Go with them Hawk, and don't blast until they say so," She replied as Hawk nodded, running off with Ratchet.

"Ratchet be nice to Hawk." He said.

"Okay, guys let's go behind the factory." He said heading out the door closing the holo-map.

Halo was walking and then he hit his head on the doorway again, and Kass stifled a laugh.

"Shut it," Halo snarled, bending down.

"It was kinda funny." He said holding in a laugh.

"Agh..." Halo grumbled, standing up straight after he got out of the ship.

Hearing blaster fire Spencer ignites his sabers and runs to the location he heard the shots.

"Why do you always run?..." She sighed, still walking.

"What if Ratchet and Hawk are in danger? It came from their direction." He said as he continued to run toward the shots.

"I know Hawk, he never really needs help," She replied.

"Same with Ratchet but I don't want to take any chances." He responded while running up the hill.

Finally reaching the top of the hill Spencer looks down to see Hawk sitting up against a rock with a hole in the right side of his chest. Spencer runs down to go check on him, but by the time he gets there Hawk is barely alive.

"Oh no this is going to make Arius upset." He said while looking at Hawk's body.

"I'm sorry sir I did all that I could do, but I was too late." Ratchet said, putting his right hand on Spencer's shoulder.

"It's not me you should be worrying about, it should be Arius." He said pointing in her direction.

"Hawk..." She said, bending down to his body.

"Sir...? I'm sorry..." He said weakly as he coughed.

"It's not your fault," She replied in a computerized voice as he grabbed her hand and he collapsed, dead.

"I'm... So sorry." He said while kneeling by Arius to see if she is okay.

"I'm fine... Let's bring him back," She sighed, picking him up, slinging Hawk over her back.

They arrive at the base they lay Hawk on the table before they bury Hawk, Spencer has a plan.

"Wait let me try something if it's okay with you Arius?" He said

"That's fine I guess..." She replied, her hand clenching at her side.

"Here I go." He said as he tried to use the force to heal him and bring him back to life. Alas it fails.

"Well I tried." he said, taking his hand off of Hawk.

"It's alright... He was a good soldier, and- he would've wanted us to "destroy the clankas and insects"." She replied.

"Here I'm sure he would appreciate It if you wore these." He said as he gave her Hawk's arm armor and upper chest plate.

"Thanks..." She replied, attaching the black and gold armor to her clothes as she closed his eyes gently with her gloved hands.

"Ratchet go meet up with Bravo Team and wait for orders." He ordered.

"Yes sir" Ratchet said while leaving the room.

"Arius, you want to get Kass and Halo and meet up at the back of the factory?" He asked.

"Sure..." She replied, squeezing Hawk's hand one more time before leaving. Kass stayed behind for a second and took the pot off his head.

"Here brother, thanks for looking out for me," He said, putting the pot on the table as Halo took off his bracelet and put it on Hawk's wrist.

"You were the best pilot, ever," Halo said, saluting as he followed Arius outside.

The group head to the back of the factory and breach the door open.

"It looks clear." He said entering the room.

"Are we supposed to blow these things up?..." She asked.

"Yeah if we don't it's not as fun." He replied.

"Oh... Ok," She replied, tripping over something as Halo jumped and caught her clothes and pulled her back up.

"Thanks," She replied in a computerized tone as Halo nodded.

"Alright General, where do we go first?" Kass asked.

"Up ahead there are the controls to shut down the production." He said walking to the controls.

Spencer pushes 3 buttons shutting down the factory.

"Mission accomplished." He said jumping in the air.

"THERE!" A droid shouted as they shot at them.

"Well it's time to leave..." Arius said, blocking their fire with the force.

"I guess it is." He said while running out the door.

"Go go go Kass!" She yelled, force pushing him out of the door as Halo hit his head again and fell backwards, straight on top of Arius as she groaned.

"Ow...." She said, muffled.

"Oh no, get up." He said while running back to her.

"I'm fine," She replied, getting up slowly as she shook out her head.

The ceiling starts to collapse on top of Spencer.

"Spencer get out of there!" Arius yelled in a computerized voice, running back as she held some of it up.

"NO YOU GO!" He said while using the force to hold it up.

"QUIT TRYING TO BE THE KRIFFIN HERO AND MOVE IT! IT'S NOT HELPFUL IF YOU DIE FOR NO REASON!" She yelled, still holding it up with her hands as it started to crumble.

"I'm sorry..." He said while using the force to push her out the way.

"NO-!" She yelled, falling out of the collapsing building as she scrambled up, pushing the troopers out of the way as the building fell before them.

Spencer hears his mom speak to him through his mind.

"Spencer get up, you're stronger than this." His mom said

Using the force Spencer pushes the debris out the way and walks out through the door.

"Mom's right." He said, pushing the debris out of the way.

"Spencer?" Arius asked, seeing something move as she tried to move it out of the way as well.

"Well who else would it be?" He said in a joyful tone.

"Agh, I hate you," She growled, helping him out.

"Hate me? Admit it you enjoy my presence." He said while dusting himself off.

"Nope..." She replied as Halo took over and helped him to a medical tent.

"Arius don't lie." He said while following Halo.

"Sir she isn't lying," Halo remarked.

"Halo, you never know." He said while looking back at her.

"I don't know about that Sir, I know her pretty well even though we've never seen her," Halo replied, bandaging his wounds.

"Halo look at her, she is by herself over there, just sitting there, what do you think is going on in her head?" He said while pointing to Arius.

"She has Schizophrenia sir, unlike any person I've ever seen, sometimes she disappears and then pops up out of nowhere, just don't question it and she won't accidentally fry you to death," Halo replied, finishing up and walking out.

"She won't fry me to death. I'm far too enjoyable to be killed." He said, finally walking out the tent.

"I didn't say on purpose..." Halo remarked, putting his stuff away.

"Look let's ask her then." He said while walking to Arius.

"What do you want Spencer..?" She asked, fiddling with a pendant in her hand.

"I want to know if you enjoy being around me or enjoy going on missions with me." He asked, putting his sabers on his belt.

"Uh, I guess it's fine, I'd rather there not be a war to fight in though," She replied awkwardly, putting the pendant away.

"I told you Halo." He said playfully punching him.

"Halo...? What happened..?" She asked, standing up, her legs cracking a bit.

"Tell her Halo." He said.

"Sir, I was telling him if he were to anger you, you get angry easily," He replied as she sighed.

"And what else?" He said examining Arius's helmet.

"First of all, stop staring at my helmet, second, yes that is true," She agreed. "And that you have Schizophrenia and that you're mentally unstable at times," Halo replied as she nodded.

"That's true," She replied.

"What if I do this." He said while using the force to lift up a mountain and slamming it.

"Don't- why did you do that...?" She asked, confused.

"I honestly don't know why." He replied

"Um... Ok... Well I have to go figure out what we're going to do now..." She replied, standing up and walking away.

"Well for we could go up there." He said while pointing to a seperatist cruiser.

"Thing is, how do we get up there without being blown out of the sky...?" She asked.

"What if i throw something at it then we fly to the cruiser." He said.

"I'm just going to fly up there... Sound fair? And then I'll shoot down a grappling hook so you can climb," She replied.

"That's no fun." He said.

"You can still throw the thing up there," She replied, her wings spreading as she flew up.

"Okay then." He said while throwing a medium sized mountain at the cruiser.

She noticed the mountain flying towards her direction and she had to collapse out of the way, falling mid-air. Spencer looking at Arius sees her falling and he uses the force to stop her from hitting the ground.

"Thanks.. But next time don't aim the mountain at me..." She growled through her comm, flying up again.

"You got in the way." He replied.

"When I get back down there, remind me to throw a rock at your face..." She replied, attaching her gloved hands to the side of the cruiser as she climbed on it, flipping her feet over her head to hold on while she bent over backwards in an awkward position, opening the hatch.

"So can I go up there now." He said while jumping up and down.

"Calm down and let me open this hatch before my feet lose grip on the ship," She growled, finally opening the hatch as she jumped off, catching the side of the ship with her one hand as she swung in.

"This is boring." He said while laying on the ground.

"Get up here moron, I opened the hatch and I shot my grappling hook down," She replied, aiming it right by his foot.

"FINE!" He shouted as he started to climb up.

"THERE GET THAT JEDI!" A B1 droid shouted as she shot at the grappling hook.

"You can shoot me all you want but don't touch that grappling hook..." She said, tackling one of the droids down.

"NO FAIR YOU GET TO HAVE FUN!" He yelled finally reaching the

hatch.

The droids shot the cable right before Spencer could climb in and he started to fall.

"DANK FERRIK!" She yelled, jumping over the side to catch it as she held on.

"Oh boy." He said while igniting his sabers and pointing at 4 droidikeas.

The droids started to shoot at her hand, and one of them shot it off as she swung her foot up and attached it to the ship as she held onto the cable.

"Look, you go that way." He said pushing Arius out of the way.

"My stupid foot's stuck.." She grumbled, reaching up to get it unstuck.

"I got it." He said while getting her foot unstuck.

"Thanks," She replied, swinging up and into the ship.

"No problem." He said.

"Are we going to blow this ship up or what?..." She asked, starting to walk down the halls.

"Yep look i became prepared." He said while pulling out a thermal detonator.

"That's very surprising," She replied, continuing to walk.

"Look you don't alway have to be mean."He said running to the core.

"Eh," She remarked, following him.

"Wow okay then i guess you are mean." He said as he placed the detonator on the core.

"Haha, yeah no, I'm not always mean," She replied, walking out the door.

"Okay sure i will believe you whenever i see you compliment someone or even smile." He said, trailing behind her

"You're never going to see me smile because I wear a helmet moron," She replied, standing at the edge of the hatch, looking down at the far ground.

"You never know you might take off." He said, jumping onto the hangar.

"Oh, I was just going to jump off the ship, you need a ride?" She asked, pointing outside.

"Hahaha, no I just wanna steal a ship that's all." He said while hopping in a starfighter and leaving.

"Ok then," She replied, jumping out of the ship as her bladed wings appeared again, she dove down and flew side by side with Spencer and his ship.

"I'm going to crash." He said pointing to a narrow path he has to go through.

"Just jump out of the ship, I'll catch you," She said over her comlink.

"Okay I'm trusting you." He said while backflipping out the ship.

She caught him with her hand and held him by his arms.

"The backflip was unnecessary..." She growled, flying down.

"Ever heard or style points?" He asked.

"Style doesn't matter in war..." she replied.

"But war is no fun without style." He responded.

"Ok, well I'm going to drop you," she replied, dropping him.

"Bye." He said falling on the ground.

"Well, mission accomplished..." she said, landing.

"Yeah I guess so." He said hoping on the gunship leaving Geonosis.

"Well Spencer, it was nice working with you, I've got to get back and lead my squad, hope we meet again soon," she replied, jumping onto the next ship.

"Same to you." He said, taking off.
