54. Three Tramps

RuQian went down the memory land again thinking about a family. The feeling of having a broken family was something she could not rid her mind of.

It wasn't that her grandfather did not love her, she also had good friends and she was making more.

But having a full, happy family was something she had never had the chance to experience. When her grandma was alive everything was peachy but after she lost her, the perfect family was broken.

Even then she had her mother at least, her mother had been the sunshine in her life but that wasn't the case now.

How much ever love her grandfather showered her with, the emptiness of a mother and father was always felt.

She craved for a family Mu Chen was basically avoiding. She hoped she could have a family in this life but she never knew whether it would happen.

So in that hurtful thought, she just spoke her mind without any filter, "He is lucky to have a family. Why would he not visit them."

She usually would not have said such a thing out loud, as she did not like speaking of people behind one's back but she couldn't control her emotions this time.

Lan Xie was able to understand why RuQian suddenly said something so emotional. RuQian was a person whose each word or sentence was only said from a logical standpoint.

She would not speak anything remotely emotional, unless it was with people she was very comfortable and close with.

Even then RuQian was a person of few words and never downgraded people based on hearsay. But this time it was different as Lan Xie knew very well of Qian Qian's feelings.

The thing RuQian craved for the most was having a loving and caring family. Lan Xie prayed that her friend would have that one day.

RuQian did not know that just a sentence from her had changed a grey eyed man completely, who was sitting nearby. Mai Sichong carefully turned to gauge his boss' expression, only to see the man deep in thought.

He was amazed for a second. Normally Mu Chen would've had an indifferent expression or at the most a slightly angered expression but it looked like his boss was actually considering Miss RuQian's words carefully.

The cold and indifferent man who did not even listen to his own grandfather, whom the whole family feared, was actually listening intently to a fifteen year old.

This was a miracle. Mai Sichong wanted to record everything for keepsake but stopped himself at the right time from making the grave mistake.

Lan Xie tugged on RuQian's arm to distract her from her depressing thoughts, "Let's go, I wanna buy a lot of things. Didn't you say you would buy?"

RuQian smiled while Amy stared wide eyed at Lan Xie, "Qiao Xie, we can't use all of RuQian's money like that."

"Oh please Amy, if I really want to use all her money I will have to buy the whole store for that and even then she would be left with more money."

RuQian just smiled. Actually she could buy all the stores in the mall with the money she had right now and even then she would be left with more, but that was a secret.

Neither her friends nor her grandfather knew that she was making money elsewhere. Except the grey eyed man, who understood the meaning behind her hidden smile.

Mu Chen had checked her background, so he knew she had a lot more money and he also knew of her secret investments.

When he first found out about her choice of investments he was slightly stunned, if he was to invest, he would have used the same companies she had used. And she was really good with her work as she had been able to use offshore accounts too.

Of course the amount she invested was nowhere near the sky high amount he would invest but for a 15 year old to already be a millionaire by her own right was commendable.

He could see she had a very good business mind and if she was to study, maybe she could work in her grandfather's company or if she wanted she could start her own company.

Little did he know, RuQian would be known as the second best businesswoman in the country after her grandmother in the future.

"Okay now, let's go quickly. We have a lot of things to buy." Lan Xie dragged both the girls inside the mall.

RuQian shook her head with a small smile due to Lan Xie's antics.

Lan Xie pulled the two girls to each and every store in the mall.

"Okay, that's it. Lan Xie don't you think we should first chose clothes and then move onto accessories. Or else how will you match everything." RuQian was already fed up with all the dragging around.

For someone who wanted to become an actress, and who would have to always be in style, RuQian did not like roaming around to shop for clothes or accessories.

"Sigh, okay Qian Qian. Which store should we go to?"

They roamed around searching through the displays to see which store held appropriate clothing.

They finally decided to enter a store which happened to be the same one RuQian, Lan Xie and Dan had visited last time; SaoLin.

RuQian did not really want to shop here as she remembered how Wen Sao had been treated here but before she could say anything, a shrill voice interrupted her.

"Oh look, look. Who do we have here? The three tramps. What a small world."

The girls turned around to see Wan Wan at the entrance along with Lu Xu Mei and another girl beside her.

"Who are you calling a tramp?" Lan Xie fired up immediately.

"Wan Wan, don't say something like that." Lu Xu Mei started her white lotus acting as usual.

"Of course you are the tramps. You actually came to a high end store like this, with your poor faces?"

Lan Xie was absolutely enraged due to Wan Wan's words. "Luckily I am not as poor as you, who can only come to high end shops and look but not buy."

Wan Wan was a bad tempered girl, would easily lose cool and would utter something wrong when put under pressure.

Lan Xie was also not very great at controlling her temper but when under pressure she became much more calm, collected and matured.

The manner of upbringing derived how a person would behave in several situations.

In high class homes, children were taught from a young age on how to deal with pressure, in professional and personal lives, as they would have to be social and follow many etiquette rules.

So if any misbehavior occurred due to one being under pressure, the family would be disgraced.

When Wan Wan heard Lan Xie's words she shrieked loudly like a mad girl, "You are the cheap beggar, I can buy anything I want unlike you."

They had started garnering attention due to Wan Wan's shriek. The shop assistants gathered and many passerby's started looking over to see what the drama was about.

RuQian sighed to herself and accepted her fate. 'Yes, I surely am a magnet. Drama is really going to follow me my whole life this way.'
