I run into Kira who stands next to a table, shaken just like the rest of us but no sight of the banshee except for the blood on the floor.

I gulp, looking around. "Where's Lydia?"

Kira's eyes are wide, "They took her to the hospital. Her Mom's with her and Theo went after them."

I feel some relief before I register her words, "Theo? What's he doing there?"

"I don't know," Kira shrugs, "But he came out of nowhere with Scott and-" But before she can finish, I spin on my heels in the direction of the entrance.

Kira calls me from behind, "Wait, where are you going?"

I answer her without turning around, taking my car keys out of my pocket, "The hospital. You coming?"

Beacon Hills Memorial didn't change much. I had become way too used to this place in the past couple years. The sharp smells of bleach and medicine didn't make me scrunch up my nose anymore, neither did the restless waiting outside hospital rooms make me feel too out of place.
