It was indeed. The blazing sun dazzled everything that its light laid upon. Dew decorated the grass, the chirping sound of birds filled the air. Even if the light was too much and it took her some time to adjust to it, the wait was worth it.

She had no idea as to why she felt no heat even though the sun was scorching. Perhaps the cold wind soothed the surroundings. The trees grew tall and old, their leaves lush and green.

Letting go of the sandals she was wearing, she felt the grass bed against her feet. The cool feeling was relaxing. Her mind was at peace. The smell of roses, the fresh air, the sun, the birds.... everything about Aestas was mesmerizing.
