V2Ch172 New Night

Sophie and I talked about many things. Before we could reach Tian Ret, she told me about my two children that hatched from Riksa's eggs. One boy and one girl.

The boy, she named after me. Lake. The girl was named Hila, after Riksa's mother. Both of my children had the scales and tails of the lizard-man race but, something was different. They grew faster and aged sooner. They took on the human aging trait.

Hila lost her life at the age of twenty during a hunt. Riksa had a hard time with the loss. Soon after that was when she left home to become a pirate.

Lake, my son, lived a quiet life. The last time Sophie saw him, he was going to be the next guru. If he is still on top of that mountain, I intend to stop by for a visit.

We came up to Tian Ret. The guy from the Adventurers Guild was still waiting for me. I handed him the bounties that I had and told him that he could turn them in for himself. I resigned from the "test."

I went with Sophie to her barracks. We dropped Goby off at a makeshift den before I was introduced to her underlings.

"Capitan? Something wrong?"

One of them asked.

"N-no."

"Something's wrong. Is this guy threatening you? Blackmail? What is it? You're too quiet!"

"No... This is Lake. He is the one..."

"THAT'S HIM?!"

All voices in the room shouted.

"Uh... Hi?"

"Come on. You made it sound like he was a badass that could take us all on and still win."

"I can."

That proclamation was enough to start a fire in the eyes of everyone in the room. The two that were sitting down on beds had stood up. The closest one tried to take a step forward. It was quickly apparent that they were all unable to move their feet.

"What is this? What's happening?"

"Those are my shadows. Just a small taste of one of my powers."

Sophie was eyeing the ground and looked almost embarrassed the entire time. I took my shadows back and reached for Sophie's hand.

"You okay?"

She found my eyes and smiled.

"Yeah."

"Woah. She is totally different than before."

The closest elf's eyes had a sparkle in them.

"Hey guys, let's break out the cards."

Sophie pulled herself close like she was going to kiss me. She quickly pulled my hood over my face. It was only covering my eyes for a second, but all of her subordinates had huddled into a corner and were cowering in that time.

"Let's go find a place where we can rest."

"Okay. I have a room at an inn."

She was happy to tag along. When we got to my room, she just wandered on in. She sat down on the furthest bed. I closed the door behind me and walked past my bag. I stopped in front of her. She wrapped her arms around me and pulled her head into my chest again.

"I've missed you so much."

"Me too."

I caressed her exposed right cheek with my left hand and started petting her hair with my right. I bent down a little to kiss the top of her head.

"That smell. Your smell. I've missed that, too."

She let out a giggle. She lifted up my shirt and kissed my stomach.

"I missed your tummy."

I reached down and nearly had to pry her arm off of me so I could kiss the back of her hand.

"I missed your hand."

She got tired of the little game we were playing and put more gas on the fire. She lifted off my shirt and hood before tossing them across the room. I couldn't even say anything before she stood up and covered my lips with hers.

I couldn't complain. No. Literally. My mouth was full. Not that I wanted to complain.

She pulled away.

"My height isn't the only thing that grew."

She placed my right hand on her left breast. I felt around for a moment while putting a look of doubt on.

"I dunno. I think I'll have to..."

I quickly pulled up her shirt and tossed her top aside.

"Examine them more closely."

I reached around and undid her bra. My left hand slipped under her cup once it was loose. I felt around and showed her a soft satisfied smile before kissing her cheek.

"Yeah. They have grown. They feel great."

She bit her lower lip. Damn, that drove me wild.

Her bra fell to the floor. We held each other close and kissed some more. Without separating, we each began to undo the other's pants. It didn't take long before we were on top of one bed in the nude.

Our bodies were entwined. Heat radiated off of us. The sense of touch began to lose track of what was where. I found her sensitive spot and only touched it.

"OHHH!"

She was hyper-responsive. Is she already that close?

"Lake... Hah... It's been so long. I've been waiting for you... I... I don't think..."

I got a big grin from hearing that. I let go of her and traveled south.

"No,... No, wait. I'll..."

I opened up and let my tongue slide over her most sensitive part. I was right. It sent her over the edge so soon. Her hips began to grind my face as she spasmed. I welcomed the sensation. I desired more.

I began kissing her on the way up. When I got to her neck, she was still shivering. I was in place.

"Sophie."

I said between kisses around her neck.

"Y-yes?"

Her breathing paused to let out that one word. She then resumed her heavy panting.

"Are you ready?"

"Mmm Hmm."

Without a second thought, I found her entrance and began pushing inside. Her heavy breathing got faster. I didn't need to put in much effort, she really was ready for me.

I started slow and worked my way up to a medium pace. She matched my movements. She wrapped her arms around my back and her legs around my waist to make sure I was entering as far as I could as we met at the hips over and over.

"Lake... Hahh. A little bit... More..."

I did as she asked and picked up the pace. Her form began to falter as she got close for the second time.

Her arms squeezed me tighter than she ever had before. I made my final effort before my face crashed into the pillow next to her head.

She shuddered in my arms while we were one. I rolled over to my right and she met me by rolling to her left.

"Sophie... It still seems like it's just a dream. I almost can't believe it's really you."

She showed me a sweet smile. Her hands held my head to her chest.

"Believe it. We can be together from now on."

That night, we spent the rest of our waking moments talking about our adventures. I told her everything. Starting with my darkness and emotions. I told her about Babur. I told her about the anurans. I even told her about Wart Forest.

She took it all in and just held me as I talked. I didn't think I could be more thankful than when I had simply found her but, she really is the best.

Sophie told me about some of her troubles as a slave at first. Riksa did a lot to help her out. She trained her in combat and how to take care of herself. Once she discovered the lizard makeup, she had experimented with it and tweaked the formula for better results. The first time she had come up with the idea to join the elvish military was when the makeup even fooled a slave trader.

She worked hard once she got into the military. At first, it wasn't too bad but, it quickly changed after the orcs started attacking villages in droves. She barely survived her first battle. It left her with a scar on her back. She was ashamed to show it to me. I thought it looked cool.

Her training with Riksa had paid off and with more experience on the field, Sophie was a natural. She not only defended villages from attacks, but she also went on the offensive and scared away the enemy. The higher-ups recognized her strength and promoted her to a secret squad that specialized in search-and-destroy tactics. Her speed and agility were unmatched in the squad.

One mission was more dangerous than the rest. Even though the mission was a success, her commanding officer was mortally wounded. Sophie was not the natural next in line to lead, but that's what happened. She took over as CO and took her squad on more and more dangerous missions. The missions were made to look as though she was weeding out the hidden orc encampments. However, she was secretly looking for me in every nook and cranny that she could think of.

When the orc occupation in Missing Star was finally waning, she proposed the relationship occupation of dark elf territory to expand her search. It was a long shot.
