Chapter 15: Home?

Sora’s P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes as I see I’m in my room, I quickly jumped out of my bed falling to the ground. “W-What I’m home?” I heard foot steps coming towards my room’s door as I quickly got up gripping my fists. “Could it be an enemy?” I thought as the door opened revealing Cherry and Mia. “Shesh sleeping in again?” Cherry said as I saw Mia smiling as I heard someone walking behind them. “Yeah, but he’s our Sora, so why change that?” The girl in the back said as the looked back at her. “R-Rose… your ok?” I said with tears forming I my eyes, as I walked to them, with them tilting their heads. “After going to the forest and seeing the black figure… we couldn’t find you…”

When I said that they seemed confused as Rose smiled. “What forest? We live in the city remember.” I was shocked and confused as I slightly ran to her. “W-What do you mean? We live in an town, next to the forest!” She jumped a bit as Cherry touched my shoulder, causing me to look back a bit. “Sora are you ok?” Cherry looked worried as I quickly backed away back into my room. “W-What the hell is going on?!”

I looked around as I ran to my window to look outside. When I reached to window I could see tall buildings, I looked back at them. “W-Wait where’s Melody?!” I said as they tilted their heads, I could see their confusion. “Melody? Who’s that?” Mia said, causing me to be a bit frustrated. “Cherry you should know right?! She’s the girl from the camp that helped us!” I yelled as Cherry shook her head softly, she looked at me walking up to me. “No I don’t Sora, I never met her.” When she said that I was shocked as she put her hand on my shoulder gently.

I pushed her away backing up quickly. “She… she doesn’t remember her…” I thought as I looked at them, seeing worry in their faces. “H-How can you not remember her?!” This caused Cherry to jump a bit as I basically glared at them as Mia walked up to me. “Sora? Are you sure that wasn’t a dream?” I looked down at Mia as I could see tears in her eyes. “I… it wasn’t a dream I know it wasn’t!” I felt someone touch my shoulder, causing me to look and see Rose. “Sora think are you sure it was a dream.”

I looked down slightly as my memory of the last month became foggy. “Was… was it really a dream?...” I though as I remembered something that happened to start this all. “W-What about the flames, and the black figure?!” I yelled as Cherry walked to me as she rubbed my head gently. “What are you talking about?” She said as I tried to recall that moment, the more I thought about it the more it became foggy. “Why… why can’t I remember anything…”

I pushed them all away as I grabbed my head trying to remember. “It… it wasn’t a dream?! I know it wasn’t!” I yelled falling to my knees as I tried to remember. “Then why not prove it wasn’t a dream.” Cherry said as I looked up at her slightly as I stood up. “Right… I can prove it… my flames…” I pointed my hand out of my window at a random tree. They seemed confused, but I didn’t care I was focused on making it catch on fire. I could feel my body heat up, knowing that my flames were about to form on that tree.

Right as the flames were about to form I felt something different, something pushed back my flames. “So? Where’s the proof?” Rose said as I looked at them slightly looking down. “My flames… didn’t work?... how…” I sighed as I shook my head slowly. “It… it didn’t work…” I said as I felt Mia pat my head softly, causing me to look up at her. “Hey it’s ok, it was bound to happen since it was just a dream.” She said as it felt like those words were sinking to my head.

“Just… just a dream?... meaning everything that happened was just a dream?...” I looked down as the memory’s that I had for the past month were fading away. “Right… it was just a dream… Demons… and those flames were just a dream…” I thought as I smiled slightly, facing them. “Yeah, you were right, it was just a dream” I said as they smiled, and headed for the door. “Well now that that’s out of the way, let’s go to school!” Cherry said smiling as I nodded heading towards my door with Mia and Rose behind me.

We headed to the front door as I grabbed my bag and opened the door to see snow. “It’s winter already?” I asked, looking back to see Rose nod and Mia hug my arm. “H-Huh what do you think you are doing?!” Cherry yelled as Mia stuck her tounge out like a little kid. “He’s mine now!” This caused me to blush lightly, and caused Cherry to growl slightly as she hugged my arm. “Who said he’s yours?!” This caused me to blush more, I didn’t know what to do.

“Who said he wasn’t?” Mia said as I managed to get my arms away from them, blushing. They looked at me as I smiled a bit, taking a few steps outside in the snow. “L-Let’s just to school ok?” I said as they all smiled softly, Mia nodded as she hopped out the door, slipping as I quickly moved to catch her. “Mia are you ok?” I asked as she blushed nodding slowly, I helped her stand to make sure she wouldn’t slip.

I looked at the others to see Cherry glaring at Mia, with Rose shaking her head smiling and laughing a bit. “W-Well ready to go everyone?” I asked, letting go of Mia turning around as I walked into the sidewalk. “Yup!” I heard Mia say, as I could only guess the others nodded. “So… which way to the school again?” I asked as I looked around trying to figure out where it is.

“You seriously don’t remember, you really are…” Rose started to say, but it seemed another voice over lapped hers. “You really are such a disappointment…” When I heard that I quickly jumped forward quickly turning around. “W-What did you say?” I asked as she sighed shaking her head slightly. “I said, you really are pathetic.” I sighed as I caught my breath slightly. “S-Sorry thought you said something else.” I said smiling softly.

“It’s ok, you always done that so it’s ok.” Cherry said. I saw Rose point down the road slightly. “We just have to go down the road.” I looked in the direction that she pointed to as it seemed that a building was slowly formed, but due to the snow I couldn’t see fully. I only blinked once as it seemed like they were so far ahead of me. “What are you doing spacing out!?” Cherry yelled as I quickly ran to them, as fast as I could. “S-Sorry don’t know what happened there.”

I said smiling a bit as I finally caught up with them smiling as we all started to walk to the school building. “W-What are you?! A-A Demon?!” I heard a voice say as I stopped about half way to the school building. “Huh? Did you hear that?” They stopped tilting their head confused. “What are you talking about Sora?” Mia said as I looked at them slightly as something seemed different about them, but I decided to ignore it. “N-Nothing forget it.” I said smiling softly a bit.

We started to walk to the school building again, and after about a few minutes pass we arrived at the building. “So this is the school building huh?” I said looking at them slightly as I see them look at me with a bit of a demonic smile but I ignore it again. “Yes it is, your acting like you never seen it before.” Rose said, with Mia and Cherry waking inside as I started to go towards the door. “AHH GET OUT!!” I heard a voice that sounded a lot like me, which caused me to stop in front of the door. “Sora? You ok?” Rose said behind me, as I looked at her. “GET AWAY!! IT’S NOT SAFE NEAR ME!!” I heard the voice say casing me to quickly back away from the door and Rose. I looked at Rose as both Mia and Cherry came back out.

“Sora? What’s wrong? We’ll be late for class.” When I heard that I felt a chill down my spine, the sun was setting as it seemed to be getting darker. “W-What’s going on here?!” I yelled backing away, with my body heating up slowly. “Sora just calm down and let’s go to class.” Rose said, with her walking to me grabbing my arm. “L-Let go.” I said as she started to pull me to the school entrance. My body kept heating up as I recognized this feeling, but couldn’t remember what it was. “Rose let go!...” She didn’t listen as she was pulling me closer to the entrance as I was struggling to get her to slow down.

My body felt hot, like it was on fire, but i couldn’t figure out what it meant. “I SAID LET GO NOW!” Right when I yelled that flames bursted around my body forcing Rose to let go. I fell to the ground, looking at my hand that had fire burning on it. “Fire?... it doesn’t burn… flames…” I thought, the next second all my memories came rushing back as I felt all my flames bursts out creating a massive explosion around me. The explosion blew me back as I could feel all my flames rushing throughout my body. “My flames! That’s right!” I was blown into a building falling down to the ground choughing up blood.

“I-I was right… it wasn’t a dream…” I looked to the school building as I saw Rose, Mia, and Cherry looking at me. “Sora…” Cherry started as I heard Mia say something. “You should have just walked in…” Rose cut in as her voice started to change slightly demonic. “We could have been together till the end…” They all looked at me as I could see their eyes went completely black with red pupils. “Now we have to kill you!” They said as I could also see flames on their body’s slowly forming. “W-What the hell…” I slowly stood up looking at them, with pitch black flames forming on their bodies. “Flames… like when that person who said she was my sister awakened that demon in me… how do they have that power?!”

I saw Cherry run at me, in a split second I saw right in front of me with her swinging her left fist at me. I quickly moved out of the way to only be kicked in the back getting blown forward into a building. I fell down hitting my back as I slowly stood up to see Mia was the one who kicked me. Right as I stood up I was punched in the side of the face being knocked down, and blown a bit forward as I hit the side walk. “N-No time to react, they are to in sync…” I stood up to see all three of them in front of me, I choughed up blood. I saw Cherry charge at me, I quickly formed my flames on my arm as she swung her left fist with me swinging my right fist. We both hit each other’s fists as both crimson red flames and pitch black flames surrounded both of us.

I saw that Rose had made her way to my side gripping her fist, swinging it at me. I quickly swung my left hand under my right arm to catch her punch. I could hear something above me, causing me to look up to see Mia above me on the building. “H-How in the hell?!” She pushed herself down from the side of the building, as she hit me in the face causing me to be to forced down into the ground. “D-Damnit there are too many?!” I thought as I coughed up blood again, I looked up to see Mia above me looking down at me. Next thing I knew I saw a glimpse of a foot get slammed down onto my gut.

This caused me to get pushed deeper into the ground, as I saw Cherry pulling her foot back. “T-This is difficult… how can I win…” I put my hands on the ground, with my body heating up, I transferred the heat to my hand. “You should have just went into the building…” I heard Rose said as she was reaching down for my throat. I quickly forced my flames to burst out of the palms of my hands, causing me to be shot into the air, quickly transferring to flames to the bottom of my feet to help me land. I was breathing a bit heavy, as I looked at the as I could see that same demonic smile that the black figure had.

“D-Damnit… what’s going on here… are they even my friends…” I thought as I formed flames around my body slowly. “Ohh you are ready to fight huh?” Cherry said, taking a step forward towards me, causing me to flinch a bit, taking a step back. “Doesn’t seem like it, he’s still scared.” Rose said as I forced myself to take a step towards them. I suddenly felt a major, sharp pain in my chest as I fell down to my knees gripping my chest. “W… What the hell…” I looked at them, with all three of them charging at me. Cherry quickly threw her right knee up hitting me in the chin knocking me to the ground.

Next thing I know I see Roses foot swing towards my face, kicking me in the face knocking me into a building, coughing up blood. “I… I can’t win… there are to many of them…” I slowly stood up, with fire forming on my arm. “But I won’t go down without a fight!...” I ran at them with my flames going up my arm, right as I was close enough I swung my arm at the ground hitting it, breaking the ground around me as flames shot into the sky creating an explosion around me. I was panting as I saw that they were on the ground. “Heh… can’t believe that worked…” I thought as I walked to them with more fire starting to surround me.

I saw Rose slowly get up as I could see burn marks on her. “T-That wasn’t strong enough to take her down?! I used a lot of my energy to create that explosion!” I saw her charge at me as I quickly put my hands on the ground. “N-Now FIRE WAVE!” I yelled, causing a wave of fire formed in front of me as I pulled my hands behind me, then pushing them forward making it go towards Rose. I saw her take it on full force as she bursted into the same shadowy stuff that forms on me. “W-What the hell?!” I looked around to see that she was no where to be seen.

I heard movement behind me, causing me to quickly look back, to see both Rose and Mia standing up. “Those two are next huh?” I thought as they smirked bursting into the same shadowy stuff like Rose. “That… That was anticlimactic…” The next second everything around me started to fade away, as darkness surrounded me. “W-What’s going on?!”

I thought, with a room forming around me with a bright light behind me. I looked back to see a pedestal with a giant flame in it. “This place looks familiar…” I said to myself. “It should be, you’ve been here before.” I heard a woman’s voice say in my head causing me to quickly turn around. “T-That voice?!” I saw a woman walk up to me I’m bright blue clothing. “Long time no see… Brother.”
