Chris POV-

The scene before me was not the one what i expected. When i came to know that she is my mate, i thought that she is a human. But this is beyond my thinking. Haley is shifted into a pure silver wolf, that means she is a healer. God she is soo beautiful, i can't explain it in words. But the questions are hollering in my mind.

Why will she be dead if i mark her?

And why her mom hide her from this world?

I was beyond angry right now.

"What the hell is this" i asked in a stern voice.

And because I'm an alpha they took my tone as a threat.

"Alpha christopher, we need to talk" told king logan

"Surely we does!, Why the hell this is hidden from everyone and especially from me. Because she is my mate, n i have evrey fucking right to know the truth" i somehow stated calmly but it didn't even sound a bit calm.

"This is a long story alpha," told queen kenny.

"I have all my time in this world "

"I think we should move to a more private place, because i can't just put my spell on everyone for longer" queen kenny told us, i nodded

"Just announce that this marriage has been canceled, n won't take place ever" king logan nodded

Her brother was going to carry haley in his arms but possessiveness took over me "stop right there prince, i will carry my mate " he shared a look with his parents angrily but when they nodded their head he bow her head slightly infront of me. He is not the king yet, so he has to do that.

I carry my mate in her wolf form , her head falls down from my arms and her paws upward. I can sense her energy got drained from all the pain she gone through a moment before. N i just can't freakin help her.

We move to the palace and put princess in her bed. She was limp in her bed, i want to feel her warmth but all i can do is right now to clr my mind from questions.

I exit her room without making any noise. I turned towards king queen and my parents and mariah(my beta's mate). My beta has gone to handle the matter of marriage along with prince edward.

We all sat in king logan's office.

"Just tell me already" i demanded.

Haley's parents shared a look " she is ...not our daughter" her mom told me with a grimace expression

I was beyond shocked.

Just i was going to speak she said"Before you ask any further questions, let me complete the whole story" i nodded

"19 years ago, we met her mother, she was running from the rouges saving her and haley's life. Her husband and alpha of the cresent moon pack was killed infront of her, but when we saw her , we fought for her" she told me in tears and i just clenched my jaw in anger, she continued " while we were fighting with the rouges , they shifted in their wolf and killed almost soldiers of our army, and snatched haley from her mother ,then threw her away in the air . Logan started running towards her and catch her in time, but meanwhile they killed her mother .

I snapped their head with my magic. I held her mother's hand and she told me to save her child. But before she tell us more , she died. After that we find about them, and came to know that their alpha , means haley's dad belong to the healers family. And healers born after two generations. So haley was the only healer in their family after their great grandfather. She told us that we have to hide her from everyone to save her life, and that's what we want for her as our own daughter" by the time she is crying

"But not from her freakin mate," i spat angrily

"You are not understanding, if she came infont of everyone as ur luna , then the rouges will know and kill her" king logan stated

"And what make u think that i won't do anything to save her, for god sake she is a would be luna to the nightfall pack, the most powerful pack in this continent. No one would dare to touch a single hair on her , n if they did i will rip their heads apart from their body without any magic." I growled glaring both king and queen infront of me.

"Don't be stupid son, she will be in danger"my father told me which i got hell shocked

"You knew about it?" I asked them shock dripping from my face

They shared a look with each other and nodded

I growled

"We had a deal son, remember the war between us for five years before that treaty" whn i didn't respond he continued " that's because rouges came to know about a healer in our pack, which was not true and that's why we fought with each other so that king logan surrender the healer. But when we came to know about their daughter being a healer, we just signed a another treaty which was hidden from everyone, in which we decided to hide the identity of haley. And queen kenny told us that she is ur mate, but we have to do this son. We realised that we were wrong about killing an innocent live, or to give that girl to rouges, that's why we did it" he explained and i chuckled humourlessly

"Well this calls for the war, isn't it." I told them and they were looking at me with pure horror.

"You want to fight against this kingdom?" Asked her father

"Well hiding my mate, u didn't leave me any choice" i spat angrily and exit the office going towards my beautiful mate's room.
