Twisted truth revealed
Morning sunshine creeped in upon us Dave,Mandy and I decided to get ready for the day,then we went downstairs to have breakfast.
”what would y’all like?”
”an omelette would be nice” I replied
“ a sandwich would be fine”
”coming right up”
After he prepared the scrumptious meal we ate and washed up. Shortly after dad texted
“hey hun my trip was cut short I’ll be back today and I have something important to tell you”
”ok dad what about?”
”you’ll know when I arrive I’m on my way take care love you”
”ok so my dad just texted he’s on his way and has something important to tell me I wonder what it is..do you think he’s seen the test already..?”
”No chels I don’t think so at all probably something else nothing to worry about”mands replied as she saw I was starting to worry.
I anxiously stared out the window like the prodigal son returning to his father so I waited on my dad.
I saw the taxi afar off,and signaled to Mandy and Dave that he’s coming.
We all sat on the couch and waited. As the car came to a stop, i stood still with my heart pounding out of my chest. I then headed as the suitcase was lifted out and placed on the pavement.
However there was also the sound of heels clanging against the pavement at the sound of this i furrowed my brow quite confused and looked at Mandy and Dave.
No soon than the key was turned into the lock out eyes were focused to the door, finally he came in and shouted
“Chels I’m ba- oh didn’t know you guys were down here hi Mandy and Dave hope you guys are good and behaving”
”yes sir” they replied simultaneously.
”What’s your surprise dad?”
”Oh I’d like you to meet someone, she’s lovely and pretty sure you’d love her and also I’ve proposed to her and I know I should have told you sooner but”
“oh ok then” I said as I cut him off
“I know it’s so soon”
“ there’s no need to explain glad your happy and where is she?” I questioned as I stared back at Dave and Mands
“Well she’s here with me I had her wait so I could tell you first”
”ok is she at least pretty”
”I’ll let you be the judge of that”
my dad then placed his suitcase aside and slowly opened the door as I looked I saw my English teacher Miss Portal, then dad placed a kiss on her lips and my eyes caught her diamond ring it was so beautiful
”Miss Portal!! What!!” I’m confused”
”you know her?”
“yes” we replies simultaneously
She then came inside and I remained quiet as she got closer to where Dave and Mandy saw her immediately Dave quickly sprung up in shock with what he saw.

”Dave?”
”Miss Portal?” Mandy questioned also confused
“ok what am I missing?” My dad asked
“well hunny when I said I was a teacher I teach at their high school they’re my students”
”oh” he replied
“hunny?” Dave questioned then she raised her hand and showed the ring.
”we’re getting married”
”ok son what are you doing here?”
“I’m with my girlfriend”
”wait so you don’t know there together and oh wow your his mother”

”uhh Yh see you soon mands” she hugged me before leaving.

”Dave I can’t” he then held my hand and cleared his throat.

“Don’t say what chels” Dad questioned I shook my head and Miss portal looked at me worried.

“oh uh hunny” she stuttered
Then my dad fainted, we rushed over to him and sit him up.
