This is a story about a Defense Lawyer proving his accused client's innocence and simutaneously exposing the true culprit in the courtoom.And even though this is a crime novel,it will not be all about a detective sleuthing all by himself but rather focused on what happens in the courtroom.

When we watch a detective movie or read a crime novel, we get easily carreid away by the intrigue of wanting to know who the real culprit is, we seldom pay much attention to the logics and what happened even after they found out the real culprit and put on a trial.

Well this story tells a different tale,even after the true culprit was unmasked half-way story,readers would like to get to the ending to find out why they did what they did.

WITNESS TESTIMONY 4 - EDWARD ACKER (WHEN I WOKE UP) 


"I woke up in the middle of the night.Actually I was woken up by an alarm of the table clock.I shut that thing off because it was aching my head crazy. 


It took me about 5 minutes to clear my head.Then I realized I was still wearing the cloths from last night and that I was not in my room.I looked around to know that I was in Devvy's living room.I wasn't fully sober but I recalled stuff from last night.Our fight, me coming all the way to her apartment and passing out on her couch. 


I called out her name a couple times.But when I heard no replies, I let myself in her room which was wide open.There I saw her body.It was lying on the floor near the window. 


I hastily ran to her and called her names repeatedly in terror.But it was too late.I couldn't feel the pulse and I saw the blood on her head.
