On one balcony in the Realm palace, a young man was staring mindlessly into the ocean situated not too far away from the castle. He was sitting on a chair, a bottle of alcohol in his right hand. 


It was around noon, but the purple-looking sky seem to reflect the heavy burden that his heart was carrying. He looked up and it was only now that he recognized the eclipse happening above him. He crooked his eyebrows in realization. He wasn't aware of the current time but it bothered him how fast it was easy for the sky to darken, and he only found out the answer now. 


He chugged on the alcohol he was holding, swallowing the liquid a couple of times until he felt as if his throat was already burning. He embodied a bitter smile afterward, putting the bottle down on the table before shaking his head as if the thoughts running through his mind made him feel like some farcical joke. He shook his head in bitterness.
