Lacy's Loot And Entering The Mountain Pass

Once inside the store Braelyn began looking for the things that she thought they would need. First, she stocked up on their dried meats: beef, pork, and chicken. Next, she checked out their selection of preserved fruits and jarred vegetables. They would need to stock up on them since there would be little to no access to vegetation in the mountain pass. They had a small selection of dried fruits, nothing as vast as the collection there had been at Plains Crossing, but enough that they would survive on. She didn’t get any fresh milk, but she did grab some eggs and cheeses along with a loaf of bread.

After grabbing a few other odds and ends from the food selections she made her way to where the store kept its oil for lamps and grabbed two bottles of it, then thinking it over she grabbed two more. She grabbed a new length of rope, some dried leaves for chewing or sucking on that were meant to help with hunger, thirst, and fatigue.
