“Wow.” Ethan said behind her.
“Do you think he prepared all this in advance? Or do you think he used his magic to prepare it after we got here?” She didn’t know which thought was more possible, this room had obviously been set up specially for someone from the royal family. Even though Braelyn hadn’t known about that part of herself for most of her life, she wasn’t stupid. She knew what the royal colors were and what the king’s banner looked like. And the marks on her skin were the exact same as the shapes that adorned nearly everything in the room.
“I’m afraid to know the answer to that.” Ethan told her.
Braelyn noticed something else, all their luggage, weapons and all, had been brought to the room already.
“Shall we get ready?” Braelyn asked him.
“Into what?” He wondered.
