Rich Girl, Poor Guy¿?

As he walked towards us, I couldn't help but check him out.. He was the definition of rich handsome, just not rich as in rich..While there were tiny holes in his shirt, his shoes were kinda old probably older than I thought... I tried not to think about his clothing but rather his face and I couldn't stop looking... 


 It was like everything was now in slow motion...As he neared us, I thought about how well our skin colours matched~ black.n.yellow but I quickly shook the thought away... 


 "Hi, I'm Daniel" he said...At that moment my brain was still jumbled up and before I could stop myself,I blurted out my previous thought which was_your shoes are kinda old...Then I stared at him wide-eyed 


 Aunty sikira came to my rescue and said nor mind her..she still dey recover flom shock as you be fine fine borbor, only say your shoe spoil your swag small but you correct..in fact gimme high five 


 After he slowly raised his hands to meet hers, she asked him about his department and what he came to do..while they were talking one part if my brain said say something or he'll think you're a weirdo and another part said just act dumb till he goes away...and I acted dumb. 


 Nudging me, Aunty Sikira asked me if I couldn't talk and before I could say anything the handsome boy excused himself and aunty sikira bade him goodbye and told him that we'll see again and I wondered how it was going to be possible.. 


 When he left, I sighed and huffed I couldn't believe what I just did...I did not only unintendedly insult him but I also acted like some weirdo who couldn't talk...I slapped my hands on my already sweating face and I wiped the sweat away 


 Aunty sikira said that I was sweating because the boy is hot like faya...I couldn't help but laugh and then she told me that when I see him next that I should apologize and before I could ask how I was going to see him, she had already dragged me and said we should head back that the weather didn't look very friendly..I just hummed in response and followed her to the park where we boarded a taxi and went home...
