A kind old lady, named Annette accidentally summons a demon and mistakes him for her Gothic-phase grandson, a kid named Todd. She treats him like family and the demon decides to live with Annette since she had summoned him.

Brambles and Brimstone

Todd was back in the kitchen but this time he was trying to keep calm. His right eye was twitching. Todd was getting irritated. It takes a lot of a demon his rank to get irritated at something but this person he was dealing with, Betty, was a whole different level of irritating. Todd knew why she was doing it and he had enough. It was taking all of his strength to keep his focus up or lose control of his current state and end up changing back to his demon form. Todd couldn't have that happen. He's gotten so far, being in a contract with Annette, even though she never has really ordered him to anything for her. 


Holly walks to Todd. Even she is worn out from dealing with Betty as well. "Are you going to be okay, Todd?" Holly asks.
