Chapter 24

Todd waits for the bathtub to fill up. He had opted for a bath instead of a shower. He still found it rather silly that some humans think that drowning a demon in water destroys them. But that wasn't the case. The water needed to be turned to holy water, and the water had to come from a fresh source. He sits on the edge of the bathtub while he waits. "Still find it odd that humans feel the need to clean themselves. It wasn't like this in the Middle Ages. They still did but not as often."

Once the bathtub was filled up enough, Todd shuts off the water. He was debating whether to keep his human disguise going or change to his demon form for a soak. "Eh, whatever." He pulls off his boxers and gets into the water. The water was hotter than most would tolerate, but Todd needed to try to relax.
