A world filled with magic and mystery, ancient celestials and new enemies, dragon royalty to elven poverty, cursed lands and forbidden ruins, Ethereal is home to the people from the dying Alecte Realm. 

In the world of Ethereal, Scott Powers lives an unsuspecting life while slightly ignorant of the outside world. In Erebus, the Upper region of the Underworld surrounded by walls, Scott and his family live their ordinary lives until, one day, Scott discovers umbra, misty shadow-like beings, have invaded Erebus underneath everyone's noses. While Scott plans to move them back to the underworld, mysterious forces drag him out of the walls and into the vast world full of magical creatures and spiritual abilities. 

Outside of the Underworld, Scott gets to meet the creatures he's read about for years, and he somehow becomes friends with a few princes and princesses. Along the journey to get back home he encounters all kinds of misfortunes, he wants to help but can he? 

And along with the impending doom he faces, he also experiences his and others' pasts through bonding with them. Broken dragon families, hurting siren royalty, and thieving orcs will be met and their pasts will unfold to create a bigger picture within a ripped paper. 

What role does Scott have in this world? And how can this teenager cope dealing with romance, betrayal and friendship?

The next day Scott gets up early, not because he wanted to, but because Grayson woke up, and then Eggy woke up. Therefore, Scott woke up because those two were not very quiet. It was mostly Eggy talking, but still. 


The three of them had breakfast without the dragons for once and it was an overall peaceful morning. After Draca and the twins woke up and ate their breakfast of underwater eggs and toast -- Scott still doesn't understand it -- they took Eggy away, forcing Scott and Grayson to practice dancing once again. 


It turns out, Scott still doesn't know how to not step on someone's feet. He thought he had mastered it the day before but his body apparently forgot all the movements like it was useless. He can't be too angry with that fact because Grayson kept stepping on his feet too. 


While they dance, Scott says, "I forgot to ask Lilith about her and Raena." 


"You were going to ask her?" Grayson then immediately steps on Scott's toes. "..Sorry."
