'Az-Raud,' the name whispered in his ear brought forth the locked memories kept in Scott's mind.

Scott was sweating. He was too hot. He rolled over and felt harsh stone beneath his fingertips. It burned him and he hissed. He sat up, avoiding the ground with his bare skin.

A wisp of smoke drifted past him on the ground, shaped like a person's shadow.

He looked around then, noticing he was not anywhere familiar to him. He was on a pathway, leading up long sharp steps to a shadowed room. He was in a large cavern, no light and no windows. The cave's floors were smooth stone, as if someone carved into the surface. There were archways farther away but Scott couldn't make out where they led to.
