When I came to,I was alone. The beeping sounds,nauseating smell of medicine and drip in my hand was enough confirmation that I was in a hospital. I groaned loudly. 


"Babe?" Chase walked inside from an enjoined room,possibly the bathroom. "You're awake. Thank goodness. I'd just call the doctor." He pressed on a bell before walking towards me. Without warning,New Year's eve came flashing back in one piece. 


"Get away from me." I gritted my teeth. He froze and I scoffed mockingly. "Oh,you weren't expecting me to remember a thing,were you?" 


He sighed loudly. "Babe,listen to me,okay? Luke was only trying - " 


"Get away from me,Chase!" I gave him a sad smile. The tears in my eyes wavered as I tried blinking them away. "You're Nolan." 


"You've always been Nolan." I barely heard myself as I realised the gravity of his true identity. And everything came clicking.
