Anger was the first emotion I had expected to restrain when I got to see Chase again. It was astonishing when I felt calm after that fleeting fear. The terror of him finding me in the states obviously wasn't as bad as I'd thought. In open honesty,a part of me had wanted him to find me and apologise. Apologise and whisk me away. That was a huge dream now though. 


The glint on his brown eyes answered my question. "Ice." He breathed. 


"Why are you here?" Thankfully,my voice was as cool as I hoped to look. He seemed to be the one trembling. 


With a more shaky voice,he replied. "Could we have a moment outside this house?" He pleaded with every part of his body. His body leaned out a little,his pupils dilated and his fingers shook with impatience. "Please." He added.
