Moon lovers

“Tell me, Al. Have you ever had this dream so real that you’re not sure of yourself you wanted to wake up?” Noora asked, staring at his eyes.

“I can’t say I can relate to it. No.”

“Well, I have,” She started. “I had this dream once before, a knight in shining armor, riding his horse and saving me from the monsters that wanted me as their food. He would brandish his sword and slay the enemies. He’d take me to his home and live happily ever after.”

“And you woke up from that dream.”

“It is a dream, after all. But it’s not far from reality.”

“What makes you so sure?”

“Because you’re here.”

“Don’t be so confident.”

She smiled. “Will you be my knight, Alastor?”

He wasn’t so sure what to say. “I’m not a knight, Noora.”

“Why not?”

“I’m a hired hitman. I kill for the living. Besides, the title of knight is for those who are noble, prestigious, and esteemed individuals. Don’t put too much faith in me.”
