Shootout

Lance was telling her about his experience when he was in elementary. He was on a play as a singing tree. His costume was tight and in turn, during the play, his pants rip off and revealed his underwear. Because of the embarrassment, Lance ran but trip in halfway, and accidentally pulled his fellow student’s pants.

“Please tell me you didn’t actually do that.” Amy laughed.

“Yeah. It just happens.” He awkwardly shook his head over the memory. “That’s just the worst.”

Amy chuckled. “No. No. I think it’s great.”

“What’s so great about it?”

She winced, ear-fully beamed and stared at him. “You seem to be a snob at work.”

“AT WORK.” Lance emphasized. “I’m very serious when it comes to my job and I don’t tolerate laziness among my coworkers. That includes you.”
