Ryan Tyler is an ill-mannered immature person  who always gets what he wants. He is so arrogant and has a cold heart. During summer break he got into an accident and he wasn't able to walk again. His two best friends Scott and Douglas never left his side. 


Aurora an African-American woman is the opposite of Ryan. She is so kind with a warm heart  and an angelic voice. She is so insecure about her body because everyone calls her "fatty". She is an introvert who enjoys her own company and music. She is raised by a junkie as a mother and her  brother Jeffrey. Her life isn't perfect. She struggles to become a star in the music industry.

"Ryan what are you doing out here? It's time for your speech darling." I heard Eleanor saying behind us. Ryan turned and looked at his mum. "I told you I don't want to speak in front of those people." He told his mum angrily. "But dear, I thought we talked about this." Eleanor tried to convince him as she came close to us. "You didn't introduce me to your friend." She now stood in front of us. When our eyes met her facial expression changed. "What is this bitch doing in my house?" She asked Ryan. "Mum! Don't talk about Aurora like that!" Ryan barked. "I can talk to her how ever I want." She told him. "Mum! Can you behave yourself just for tonight. Please." Ryan begged her.
