New Boy At Rosewood High School

Issac's Pov:

Walking into the classroom seemed normal. This was was just like any other high school. It is just that I wasn't meant to be in this class nor this school.Well, I only came here for one reason and I plan on accomplishing my goal.

I let my eyes linger on all of the students in the classroom until my eyes settle on one student.

Her eyes met mine for a split second before she looks back down at her notes.

The attention of all the girls in the class was on me.

The teacher introduced me as a new transfer.

I sat at the desk next to that girl since that was the only empty seat in the class.

The girl seemed quite studious as I saw her full attention was on the teacher.

Taking notes as the teacher spoke, she didn't even reply when I said hey.

"Ignoring me?" I questioned."

She turned towards me and said "Oh! I am soo sorry!" "What did you say."

"Oh, I just said hey," I replied.

"Hey", she smiles at me. "Talk to you after class." She says.

I nod in reply.

After the teacher assigned us some work from our textbook, I asked her if she could assist me with a question. She turned to me with a warm smile and nodded yes in reply.

She started explaining the answer to me but it seemed I was mesmerized by her beauty and innocence.

Not hearing a single thing she explained, I asked her to repeat herself.

Paying attention to the work seemed hard. This lesson didn't interest me at all. The subject was not for me. As a businessman already, I had nothing I wanted to learn. It worried me but I knew if I want to find out what I came here for, I had to pretend to focus in order to understand the question. I realized that this time she used a different technique to explain the answer. I asked her for her name and how old she was.

I then ask her if I could join her for lunch and she says sure. the bell rings signalling the end of class.

We all left the classroom and I joined everyone to get to the cafeteria.

Suddenly as I walk with her, a group of girls come up to me and start laughing. I look puzzled as one of the girls says, "would you like to sit with us?" A few boys are sitting at their table that is like "yea! come on bro, you can sit with us we are the best people in school." "Forget her, her squad is boring."

I refused saying, " I am fine I will sit with whoever I want."

She looked towards me and nodded in my direction assuring me that I can go.

I assured her that I chose to sit with her first so I will sit at her table if she doesn't mind.

She shrugs and mutters , "up to you!"

Lunch in the cafeteria was weird.

Memories of my high school life return. I felt like I was repeating history but it was only to find out one thing, the truth.

She and her friends seemed to care about school a lot but they are really nice, warm and welcoming and very intrigued about sports as most of them were athletes.

The way they talked about sports , the passion with which they talked about it was so intense. I was enjoying the intense conversation as I joined in with them talking about sports.

The conversation flowed amazingly and we continue speaking. I noticed that many people in the cafeteria's focus was at our table, I didn't understand why.

After a little while, someone approached us and asked Izzy ," oh my god! ,where is jasmine .that hoe, why isn't she at school?"

Izzy looked towards the girl and said, "I don't know, Why would you ask me?"

The girl mumbled something under her breath rolled her eyes as stated hahhahahaaahhahahah, and started laughing, Did she die, good riddance, what has happened to her?

Izzy stared at the snobby cheerleader with a look of pity.

"I wonder if she goes through problems that she act this way" , I thought.

Izzy smile at her and said, "you shouldn't say those type of stuff, I do not know but you seem to know so if you would like to inform me that occurred then go on."

"Don't tell me what to say, you nerd", said the girl spitefully, "Well well honey you don't deserve to know."

I stared at the conversion and wondered why Kaitlyn acted this way.

I didn't know what was going on, neither did I know who Jasmine was so I didn't state anything. Suddenly Izzy got out of her seat, her pale face was evident and she started to pace up and down like if panicked had filled her mind.

"Izzy, are you okay?" I called out.

I was given no reply .as she disappeared out of the building.

Jasmine's Pov:

Walking through the dark tunnel on the way home, cold air hitting my face, an airy dark feeling engulfed me.

"The message wasn't clear , was it ? I wondered . I hoped it was fake--no, I would never be able to believe it, no matter what."

Tears trickled down my face as I felt colder and colder by the second.

"I hope I reach home before the rain starts pouring"

This day couldn't get any worse. I rarely cried but I wondered why my eyes started to water. I was never afraid of anything but now I recognised my biggest fear. The loss of a close one.

"Nooo!" I screamed in the quiet, dark tunnel, deafening my ears as it echoed.

I needed to hurry up. "I can do this," I muttered. "I can save her. I am stronger than this, better than this. They call me a bully for a reason."

A dark husky laugh heard from the corner of nowhere. "Oh, if it isn't Jasmine. The little pretty princess is finally here, let's see if she can save the day."

"We've been waiting", said the voice loudly coming out the left dark corner of the tunnel.

Not knowing where the sound came from, I pitched out my knife from my pocket since I sensed the downright sarcasm in the hooded man's voice.

"Who are you?! What do you want?" I shouted in reply, dashing to the safety of the light.
