The Day Got Worst

Izzy's POV:

Those striking eyes that I turned towards to. Distraught by the moment, I didn't know how to react.

The surrounding gunshots, students screaming. Startled and terrified were the emotions of every student.

Panic-strikes as the screaming of the students pierced in my ears deafening me. I sat there gaping directly at the gun in his hands. His stares, I had seen them somewhere or why does it seem like I recognize everyone.

“”” Am I hallucinating, something was truly wrong with me these past days”

My heartfelt like it was taken out of my chest as I saw the bullets coming right towards me. My eyesight beginning to become blurry as the world now appeared like a distant mist in front of my eyes.

I knew I needed to move, but my legs felt like it was stuck to the floor at that moment and my seat felt like it had glue on it. My body started to feel numb, maybe because I had never experienced the excitement of sitting in front of a scene as such.

Instantly my hopes were gone as I looked towards those eyes for the last. My thoughts were now that my death awaited me.

Issac's POV:

Watching her eyes that were filled with fear.

It was time I came to rescue, but my heart was racing.

This was very rare, I would never be scared of bullets. Why was my heart racing?

Was it because of her?

As I watched the bullets flying in the air when I met the eyes of the man that stood there in the blazing fire.

The screams of the surrounding students rang in my ears.

The bullets past my forehead missing just in time to turn around and see the poor child laying at rest.

Jasmine's POV:

I rushed off the branch of the tree.

Running as quickly as I could from the voice I was hearing in the distance.

My speed slackened as I stumbled over a rock. My body was falling slowly on to the rocky surface and I started to feel extremely dizzy.

My emotions were scattered. I fell heretofore into my world and saw my mom calling me. I jumped in fright as I hit the ground and half my head felt like it was shattering. Likewise, I swore under my breath wishing whoever was calling me would just go away. My body pained me miserably, and I didn't know if I would be able to get up.

“”” Oh, my poor brain hurts from lack of sleep and now my heart hurts more.

Who in the right state of mine would come looking for me in the early hours of the morning.

Are people okay?””

I hated the fact that someone generally cared about me to search this far.

The voice started to come nearer, I urged myself to get up and run, eventually I made it up and staggered back as I hit another rock.

“”” No, I cannot fall again.

I wanted to cry now.

This is how you struggle when you don't have parents.

This is why I should have never made fun of people that had miserable lives or joke about it.”””

“”” Jasmine, you can do this, get up, you lazy shit, I told myself.””

The fainting feeling dawned on me. I was fainting…oh .nooo.

I hated fainting even though that occurred to me a few times before in my life.

Not only that, but I started fighting to run as I was at a jogging speed. My mouth felt dry as I haven't drunk anything for hours to end.

The world was honestly horrendous. The person behind me appeared to be getting further and distant or was it just my mind. Ultimately, I decided that I needed to take a rest, so then I sat next to a tree attaining some shade from the now burning sun.

I had given up running, I knew I had to give up because of my exceedingly vulnerable condition.

Praying in my mind, hoping that whoever it was, would just give up and go away. Like please I just wished for some serenity and silence.

Suddenly I jumped from terror as I heard a man stating in a demanding voice, “HEY, YOU COME WITH ME NOW”.

I replied by pouting harshly and saying,

“Who are you?

What do you want?

NO! I AM NOT COMING WITH YOU”

I struggled to get up as the man looked down and stated harshly, “get up, kid, let us get you out of here.” I replied by saying, “fuck off! Don't come near me, you piece of shit”

He laughed loudly causing a shuffle in the trees.

A woman came out through the other side asking the man, “what is going on, what do you want?”

The man looked towards the woman and dashed towards the trees like if he saw a ghost.
