Day Ten: Part Two

For a moment it was like my brain froze as I tried to process that Nathan’s lips were on mine. It was only when he was pulling away that it clicked and all logic just flew out of my head and I moved to connect our lips again as I took a place on his lap. Nathan didn’t hesitate to respond and pull me against him as we played a game of twister with our mouth.

I knew that this broke every protocol I had ever learned but I also knew that my feelings for Nathan surpassed my rational thoughts. It was like my body was filled with the need to be closer to him and I didn’t know if I would even get another moment like this with how shady everything was here. I could walk out of this room right now and be told that I was fired or Nathan was no longer my problem to deal with. I didn’t want to deny my heart the chance to go after what it wanted.

I pulled away from him, “Nathan- ohhh!”
