Chapter Eight

My eyes dropped and I was feeling sleepy, I dropped my drink on the table and sat comfortably, watching the movie with heavy eyes.

“Come closer”

My eyes wide open “What” I replied sitting upright.

“It's obvious you are sleepy so rest your head on my shoulders” Morningstar gestured.

“Okay” I said against all odds.

I rested my head on his shoulder, the warmth from his body warming me, I felt safe and happy, I shifted closer to him, placing my head on his chest, literally hugging him.

“Someone is in a good mood” Morningstar commented drawing me closer but I ignored and listened to his steady heartbeat.

I felt a heavy feeling on my head and when I tried to push it, I realized that it was Morningstar resting his head on mine. I gently moved my head away from his, studying his sleeping face and for the first time I noticed how long his lashes was and how beautiful he really is.

My body was on his and all the shifting and moving woke him up.

“You're so beautiful”

Sleepyhead Morningstar was flirty and fun. I could only smile at his words with satisfaction and anticipation.

“ someone is in a good mood ” I said repeating his words from earlier.

He chuckled “ Let's just enjoy the moment” He replied kissing the top of my head.

My day with Morningstar was filled with fun and I lost track of time, it was already dark before I realized that I had to go home and it was Chris call that made me realize so.

“I want you to come next time” He said squeezing my hands

The words that were at the tip of my mouth came out boldly.

“Why do you need me to come”

“Because I like you”

These words made me blush, I turned to the side smiling widely.

“I need you to come tomorrow and please make use of the door” He gestured to the front door.

My face warmed with embarrassment as I knew what I did earlier was wrong and trespassing.

I nodded in agreement “Are you coming to school tomorrow”

“Yes Can I pick you up” He asked raising a brow

“Yeah” I did a little victory dance inside my head while beaming

“Great” He replied waving me goodbye before walking back to his house.

I entered into my house still smiling and twirling which was pathetic.

“Boo” Owen shouted, I jumped at the sound of the voice holding my chest.

“Owen darling” I said kissing him all over his face.

“Ewwwww” He hissed giving me shitty eyes which made me laugh

“We heard it all” Thea said from the living room.

“you were eavesdropping” I feigned anger.

“Well I did the needful” Thea said winking.

“You too” I said pointing at Chris who was sitting beside Thea

“ Don't drag me into this” He said in mock surrender

“So do you like him” Neo asked from the living room tapping on his phone.

“I guess so” I shrugged sitting down beside them.

“Well be careful that boy is a looker ” Thea said getting the support of Chris who hollered.

“I will be” I said focusing on the TV.

“Okay time to eat let's go people” Thea shouted putting off the TV.

I smiled as I watch Owen running towards the table and Neo still on his phone which I knew would be taken away from him soon. All in All I love my family and am so grateful to be part of their home.

I wasn't even fully in school my body was still at home on my bed when charity came running to me with gossip.

“We have a new student and she is hot” Charity exclaimed loudly.

“Okay” I said with an uninterested voice.

“And she was seen being all friendly with Morningstar some minutes ago”

The word Morningstar perked my interest and I became interested.

“ I'm telling you cause I saw that he drove you too school today, is there something going on that I don't know”

I blushed foolishly, smiling like an idiot.

“Nothing is going on we are just friends”

“uh-huh” Charity said with a disbelieving voice.

“There she is” Charity nodded towards the direction of a girl.

Oh my God she was hot, she looked like a celebrity and had the body of one, her brown wavy hair bounced as she walked, the blue leans and black leather jacket she wore looked good on her too. Life is totally unfair for making someone this beautiful.

I was still staring at her with a look of awe on my face, when she stopped in front of me.

“You” she called out looking at me with mean eyes.

I was surprised when she called me and charity looked confused with the whole situation.

I looked at her in confusion as I didn't know her

“So you are the one” she called out angrily

“What do you mean by that” I replied in a strong confident voice, taking a step towards her so we were head to head.

“Just Wondering who took his interest”

I licked my lips showing my confusion, towards this girl Jessica I didn't feel any anger but at the back of my head I knew she was talking about Morningstar. As I opened my mouth to reply the bell rang.

“See you later bitch” Jessica waved her goodbye, walking away.

“Who does that” Charity exclaimed shaking her head.

“bipolar much, let's just go” I said walking away with charity in tow.

Throughout the day I thought about Jessica and Morningstar and how they were related with each other, then I remembered Jackson and as soon as school closed, I took the bus and headed straight to Morningstar's house without stopping at mine.

“Hello Thea am going to be late today ” I said over the phone.

“why what's happening in school” Thea asked

“I'm going over to a friend's house later“

“Morningstar's”She replied with confidence

“Of course you know” My voice dripping with sarcasm.

“That's cool with me and Owen is with me while Neo called saying he was at his best buddy house so no one is at home right now”

“Okay thea love you”

“Love you too girl and please be careful, I don't want a grandchild now”

“Oh my God” I screamed hanging up.

I rang the bell nervously waiting for someone to get the door. As soon as the door opened I saw his beautiful green eyes looking at me with Surprise.

“Hi” I waved shyly

“Elven what are you doing here straight from school, come in” He opened the door wider for me.

Hearing my name from his mouth did things to my body as my heart did a weird flipping thing.

“You just came back from school too right”

“Yeah I looked for you but couldn't find you anywhere I wanted to drop you home” He said entering the kitchen.

“Right, I took the bus ” I laughed silly

“Next time wait for me ” He opened the fridge bringing out a carton of orange juice

“Do you want some ”

“Yeah I do” I answered and watched him as he poured it into a glass for the both of us.

“Do you have my number” He asked giving me a glass of the fruit juice.

“You gave it to me last time”

“Come on seat down” He pointed at the dining table.

I sat down and was confused when he knelt down in front of me his hands on my thighs.

“What ya doing”

He carress my ankle, fingering the anklet that was there and I realized what he was doing.

“I never took it off” I stated shyly
