One day Emma Ray went through a wooden door. And she found herself in a new world full of mindnumbing adventures. But the fact of the matter is, however great the new world might be, it's not so fun to get kidnapped.  Or get a homesickness. Thankfully Emma meets great friends on her way, who are ready to follow her to the end of the Earth. At least one of the Earths. Will Emma ever be able to return home? Or would she rather make new home in the new world?

The Fog

 Emma followed Em through the streets of the town. Though it was pretty dark they still tried to stick to the shadows. After about five more minutes they stopped running. Emma tried to catch her breath. When they were far enough from the mansion all the pain in her body came back. Besides, she wasn’t exactly a sport type so she had trouble keeping up with Em. 


 After picking round the corner Em turned to Emma and whispered: “Now we are going on the lighter streets. We are not going to run anymore so that we won’t attract any attention,” Em gave Emma a look a teacher could give a stupid student. “We’ll do a few circles to make sure nobody’s following us. Got it?” 


 Emma nodded as she was still breathing quite heavily. 


 “Don’t ask me any stupid questions. We are in public”. 


 Em didn’t wait for an answer this time. She picked one more time round the corner then gave a motion for Emma that meant they are going out.
