Chapter Twenty-Three

The rain was still pouring full force when we parked at my workplace, I warned Nick to be careful when driving back since he enjoyed speed. He assured me that he was in no rush to get back since he would be based at the construction site because they had to finalise everything and proceed with building the Mall. Nick promised to fetch me later on so we’d also get the chance to bond, we couldn’t stop kissing in the car and when I eventually had to leave, I looked like a mess, at least now I knew how to apply makeup and it was still early to come across people.
