Consequences

“A new plot to unsettle the present Imperial Government was successfully unravelled by the police today. According to sources, the police had received a tip off from a reliable source about a possible revolt to topple the government. Acting on it, the police and the para military forces had worked day and night gathering information and removing any suspicious activity. This included removing piles of stones, bricks and water that had suspiciously been piled up near key locations in the town. The police also found many men drugged in their homes. They nor only rescued and shifted them to the Imperial Hospitals for treatment but also secured these houses so that they would not be used by the rebels. Further, several school and college girls had been found to be sympathising with the rebels. These girls had been apprehended by the special branch police.
