What happens when a young lady is coerced into marriage by her parents after her step sister, who should have been the bride runs away with her lover-and then her soon to be husband has a hideous scandal attached to his name? 
 Facing the challenges of being a married woman and trying to avoid being close to her arrogant spouse, Emily vows to leave once her dad's debts are cleared.

A TWIST OF FATE

   The cab finally arrived at my workplace. I came down, paid the driver then moved quickly into the coffee shop. 


      I flung my purse on the chair and assisted one of my colleagues in serving the tea. She appreciated it and walked back inside.  


      "You are doing a tremendous job, Hannah." My boss complimented me. 


     "Thanks, Sir." Adrian, my boss was a few years older than me. He was 6ft tall and attractive, with tempting pink lips. There was a reason every girl who came across him, instantly fell in love with him. It was his dashing personality and his humor. Unlike Liam, he acknowledged people's hard work and thought highly of women. 


        That was the first time I got to see him since I commenced work. Every time I came in, he wasn't around. My eyes took notice of a slim girl sitting in his office. She sat in such a gauche manner that made me wonder if she was alright. 


       He extended his hand to me. "I didn't know you were coming in today."
