CHAPTER 12

Liam's driver drove the black Bugatti around the compound then parked it in front of the house and stepped out.

Why can't I come along?" Anna whined. She folded her arms like a resisting kid.

Liam lowered his head and pulled her close. "That's because it's an office and not a playground. I promise to take you to the beach next time. Ok?"

"Hannah doesn't know anything about the office but she's going with you." She insisted. The corner of her mouth quirked up.

"That's because she's my wife," Liam answered with a smile as he got up. I stood close to the door and admired the conversation between Liam and his sister. She was the only one he talked to politely. He adored her very much.

"And I'll get you chocolates. We are going to have such a fun time here." Nanny Mai said encouragingly. They watched me and Liam enter the car before going back in to listen to Pastor Steven Furtick's preaching.
