L-13 Easter special
~Kate~
Our Valentine's day was perfect and Seven was truly poetic capturing my heart once more by way of melody. I wanted to do something for her since easter was now upon us, at first I wanted to match her. Do something just as powerful as she did for us but it lead to frustration and sleepless nights, she asked me one night why I was stressed. I told her it was a surprise but I was having difficulties figuring a way forward with it. She kissed me sweetly telling me that surprises are meant to be fun and with the thought of a person in mind, and she was right. I didn't need to do anything extravagant because we never needed that between us.
The next morning after she left for one part-time job I did what I know best. I started experimenting with her favorite fruit and her favorite tea I planned to decorate the cafe using hers and my favorite colors. The concoction I made using a homemade strawberry cream which mixed well with Her Da hong pao tea, which was exotic to me. She lived strange exotic things though perhaps her free nature inspires such a thing. The cafe was decorated in light pink and white braided strings which held a small charm at the end of each piece. Seven collected trinkets every day but said she had no idea what to use them for, perhaps this will be good enough.
As I prepared everything I had previously baked some cream cheese-filled pastries with a light strawberry glaze. Her obsession with strawberries was a surprise but fits her well enough and I'm growing fond of them myself. Keeping the tea nice and warm as well the pastries I needed to get dressed for when she comes back. The problem was clothing options as I had many but none of them stand out to me for this occasion. So I had a strange Seven like idea to mix and match to fit what I want and need. I found an old easter costume and started rearranging it to fit my needs, the ears were perfect still. By the time I finished, I was wearing a small set of ears and a blue with cardinal red trimming. But I refused to put the tail on, that was far too embarrassing.
After changing I didn't have to wait long for her to arrive here, and that's the brightest part of my day. The surprised look creeps across her face but she soon smiles wrapping me in an embrace, giving light kisses. Once I got her seated I served her the food and drink I prepared for us, watching her expressions made everything perfect. We enjoyed the food and even shared bites of our food with the other but I felt embarrassed every time she commented on my outfit and ears. Moments like this are priceless and to think I almost ran away from it.
