God Slayer: The Strongest of All

Everyone was dumbfounded by the fight that just took place before them. They were sure that Issac would not be able to defeat Kane in any way possible. But, Issac surprised them all by doing just that.

'Just how high are his attributes? Kane didn't even stand a single chance against him. Is there anyone out there who can beat a monster like him?' Etna thought to herself.

As the battle ended, Issac came out of the arena towards the place from where Etna and the others were watching his fight. Kane had also re spawned at that side of the arena. As Issac approached, he did nothing more than hold his head down. Right now, he was not trying to argue with Issac on anything after facing such a humiliating defeat.

"So, what did you think of the fight? Now, do you think having me is the greatest benefit of all?" Issac suddenly asked as he arrived towards Etna's party. He also had a large confident smile on his face.

Etna, being startled out of her thoughts, started speaking, "It seems like what you told us really was the truth. But, I want to know one thing."

Issac signaled Etna to continue looking as if he knew exactly what she was going to ask him.

"Why do you need our support in the war against Dominators if you are already this strong. I believe that even if you can't totally win against them, you can at least make them surrender."

Listening to Etna's question, Issac's expression somewhat changed to a dark one.

"I think you are in the wrong here, Miss Etna. If it was just to toy around with them then, I would not have come here to ask for your help. The truth is that I really don't even want to join your team. I just made it up as an excuse so that you would listen to what I had to say.

Let's make a deal here all right? I will supply your adventurer team with more equipment, weapons and most of all forging designs and materials for an adequate price. While, you have to do nothing more than support me in the war against Dominators.

After all, I just want to thoroughly crush them. It's not a matter of just toying around." Issac shouted with a really angry look on his face.

Etna was surprised for a bit looking at Issac getting angry. She had thought that she could never see the man before her getting angry. This was when she realized that no matter how powerful Issac may be even he was a human.

'Just what had the guild Dominators done to make him this angry?' A thought ran through Etna's mind.

"This… I think I would need to discuss this with our leader before making any decisions." Etna spoke in a low voice.

Issac signaled Etna to call their group leader if it was to discuss his conditions.

After discussing the deal presented to her for a while, Etna answered Issac with the utmost clarity.

"I agree." Etna could do nothing except agreeing to Issac's conditions. After all, he could just go to some other adventurer team or guild with the same conditions and benefits if they denied his conditions.

She really wanted someone as powerful as Issac to join their adventurer team and help them grow but nobody could have all the good things. She sighed thinking that.

It was just like before. It was not Issac who really needed them, it was them who needed Issac.

A brilliant smile lit up on Issac's face as Etna agreed to his conditions. Everything went according to what he had planned. From the very start, it was not his wish to join any type of organization. He just wanted to meet with a person of Chaos adventurer team's management to discuss these conditions with them.

Joining any organization and working under them was a thing that he refused to ever do again. It was because of that and his earlier foolishness that he had to face extremely painful things. He made sure to not make that kind of mistake ever again.

After making things clear with Etna and the others, he went towards the library of Lecburgh. He really needed to know more about the God Slayer from which he got his powers. He spent about 6 hours in the library searching and reading through all the information he could gain about the God Slayer and the lore of the Great Sage War.

According to the knowledge he gained from the books over there, the causes of the Great Sage war or when or why it started were completely unknown. It was the greatest war between the Gods and demons where even all the other races had participated and joined either of the two sides.

But, even in that situation, a human rose through all the chaos becoming strong like none ever before. The human was none other than the God Slayer. Nobody knew the secret to his powers or how he became the strongest.

Everyone knew that whichever faction the God Slayer joined, the faction would become victorious. But, the God Slayer refused to join either of the 2 factions and went on doing whatever he wanted.

Humans were believed to be the weakest race among all the 12 races in The Heavenly Domain.

The God Slayer had become the most powerful being and had completely shattered the belief that was present beforehand. Tired of the actions of the God Slayer, the 6 great gods and the 6 great demons who were considered to be the strongest 6 of both factions joined hands and went to battle against the God Slayer.

Even with the powers of both of those factions combined, they had not been able to defeat the God Slayer even after a 100 years of fighting each other. That was when the formerly neutral Dragon God joined the ranks of those fighting against the God Slayer and finally, the God Slayer was defeated.

But, he did not perish alone. He had been able to kill each and every of the 6 most powerful beings of both the gods and the demons only being unable to finish the Dragon God before he died. Still, the Dragon God was heavily injured in the fight against the God Slayer and went into a slumber that is said to last a millennia before he can be completely healed.

The items carried by the God Slayer were all blown into many fragments and were scattered across The Heavenly Domain.

Everyone believes that when the Dragon God awakens from his slumber, he would take over the world and rule it. At that time, there would be no God Slayer to stop that from happening.

The Great Sage war ended with the death of the God Slayer as both factions were completely exhausted and the threat of the Dragon God was too much for them to be fighting around.

Issac more or less got the complete lore of the God Slayer. Although he didn't know what sort of training the God Slayer did to become that powerful, he knew that the God Slayer was an even more amazing and powerful existence then he had ever imagined. The one that could be called the most powerful being to ever exist.

Just thinking about that sent shivers down the spine of Issac.

He didn't know about how much time had gone after the Great Sage War. After all, He had the quest to defeat the Dragon God who could possibly destroy the whole of The Heavenly Domain after its awakening. If he could still fight it when it was in its weakened state, he may have a greater chance of victory.

'I need to get stronger. I don't have much time.' Issac thought.

He was also motivated by the ideals of the God Slayer and how he never submitted to anyone and decided to follow his own path. In Issac's heart, he had already taken the God Slayer as one of his role models.
