Chapter 3

Recap

"L-L-Lily? W-what are y-you doing h-here?" Hinata stutters out with fear in his voice.

Natsu runs over to Hinata and hides behind his legs, peaking her head out from one of the sides. "What do you want from Shoyo you meanie!?" Natsu yelled out.

"Meanie!?!" Lily says, clearly taken aback. "Sho, how dare you call me a meanie at your house and especially in front of Natsu. What have I even taught you?" "I'm s-sorry Lily." He replies and turns to Natsu. "Natsu, she is not a meanie. I was just mad when I said that." He assures her in a soothing tone.

"Well, shall we actually practice?" Lily says, obviously annoyed.

Timeskip after practice

"Natsu, let's go. We have to go home now." Hinata said, holding his hand out toward his younger copy. "O-okay. Can we stop to get dinner before we get home though because I am hungry." She replied. "Ummmm... sure. Why not" he answered, giving a blinding smile.

They walked to coach Ukai's store and bought some meat buns for dinner. When they got home, Hinata told Natsu to go into her room, pack enough clothes in a bag for a week and go into his room and lock his door and hide in the closet. She did as she was told while he was packing a bag for a week as well. She walked into his room and he left to go make dinner for his father. He walked into the kitchen only to see his father leaning against the counter holding a beer bottle with a malicious grin on his face.

"There you are my little toy." Hinata's father said, throwing the half empty beer bottle at Hinatas head. The force was enough to knock him down but he immediately stood back up knowing that if he didn't, he would be hurt a lot more. "H-hello dad. I am s-so glad you are h-home. What do y-you want me t-to make y-you for d-dinner." Hinata said, trying to keep the fear out of his voice. "I just want some ramen and then I want YOU." He said with lust gleaming in his eyes. "Y-yes father." Hinata gulped and started making dinner. He could feel his fathers gaze on him the whole time and when he was finished making his father dinner, he went into his father's room for what would come next.

NATSU'S POV

I heard a crash from the kitchen and got scared but then everything seemed quiet. After 10 minutes, I heard footsteps and my heart started racing a mile a minute. They went by the door to Shoyo's room and into father's room. I thought that it was father going to his room after eating dinner until I heard louder, harder footsteps heading the same way. When they went into the room next to me, the door closed. I heard Shoyo begging father to stop and I could hear him crying through the walls. I started crying myself and then everything went quiet. 'Please dont be that. Please dont be that. Please dont be that.' I thought over and over. I thought that father had knocked Shoyo out or something like that until I heard Shoyo scream. I could hear something that sounded like rubber meeting skin and got even more scared. I scooted to the back of the closet and slowly melted down the wall in a corner to get as far away from it as possible.

Everything went quiet again and I thought that Shoyo would come and knock on the door to let me know that he was ok and to unlock it. That was until I heard Shoyo scream again. "PLEASE STOP!!!! THAT HURTS!!! *SCREAMS* PLEASE!!! I'M BEGGING YOU!!!" Shoyo screamed. By hearing Shoyo scream that, I knew what was happeneing. I covered my ears and started crying. I cried and cried until I fell aslep.

Time skip 30 minutes. Still Natsu's POV

I was woken up to the sound of a door slamming shut. After that, I heard banging on the bedroom door. "Natsu, open the door. It's me, Shoyo. Father left to get more beer. Please let me in. The pea is in the pod." I could hear Shoyo desperate voice but didn't open it until I heard the last line. The pea is in the pod is the code that me and Shoyo came up with meaning father is not home and it is just Shoyo. I unlocked the door and handed him some sweats and a baggy sweatshirt so that he could shower. I couldn't look at him knowing that if I did, I wouldn't be able to stop crying. I was broken out of my thoughts by a warm kiss pressed to my forehead. "I am going to be ok. I just feel disgusted. I am going to shower and then we can cuddle up for bed so get your pajamas on." Shoyo told me in a calm, quiet voice. I couldn't bring myself to look at him so I just nodded and closed the door. When Shoyo got put of the shower. He layed down in bed and I crawled into his arms, the only place in this world that I felt safe from everything and anything.

Time skip to morning. 3rd POV

As the alarm clock started going off, Hinata quickly turned it off to not wake up his father. He got Natsu up, and they got ready for the day. Hinata made sure to cover his cuts and bruises with makeup and to wrap the other ones. The two siblings ate a piece of toast and then left. Hinata dropped Natsu off and told her to go to the gym again and to just walk in and sit on the bench. When he got to practice, he was 5 minutes early so he figured that it made up for him being late yesterday. Lily walked up to Hinata and he flinched, trying not to make it noticeable. She unlocked the gym and the both of them set up the court.

When the rest of the team arrived, Hinata put on his fake happy smile and played his hardest to make up for being late the day before.

Timeskip to lunch

Hinata was waiting by the open field for Kageyama but Lily showed up instead.

"What is going on with you Sho? Why are you so jumpy and why do you put on a fake smile. It isn't going on again, is it?" Lily asked Hinata with worry evident in her eyes. "No it is not going on again. I just miss mom and you kinda remind me of her. There is no need to worry about me Lily." 'Now go away cuz u make me uneasy' Hinata said in an upbeat voice that was obviously fake, wanting to add the last part but not daring to. Lily was about to say something when Kageyama showed up. "Finally you are here you baka. C'mon. Let's go practice." Hinata said, clearly wanting to get away from Lily. Kageyama looked at her with a questioning look in his eyes. "Go ahead and practice. I will just watch you guys." She told Kageyama with a reassuring smile. He just nods in reply.

Time skip to after school after Hinata spends the day avoiding Lily, making a certain silver haired sugamama curious and worried for his baby crow.

The team was working on serving and recieving for the training camp when there was a knock on the door and it opened up to show an orange fluffball who was dicovered the day before as Natsu.

SUGA'S POV

Natsu ran into the gym and hugged Hinata, making him fall to floor. "Natsu, that hurts." I heard Hinata whimper out. "Right. Sorry Shoyo." Natsu said, climbing off of her brother. "Okay Hinata, I think you need to introduce us because she came in yesterday and we still don't know who the freak she is." Daichi said in a commanding tone that made Hinata and Natsu both flinch and look down. "Sho, I'm scared. He sounds kinda like father." I could hear Natsu whisper to Hinata. 'What is going on with them? Why would they be scared of their father? Why is she coming to Karasuno after she gets out of school instead of going home?' thoughts were racing through my mind.
