As Lingling, cradled in Shao Zifeng's arms, found herself attracted to the ring on his finger, she curiously sniffed at it with her little nose, then her eyes lit up. She stretched out her short arms to hug Shao Zifeng's finger, rubbing her little cheek against the ring.

The fawn, drawn in by Lingling's actions, lifted its small head and followed suit, sniffing at the ring with its pink nose. Then it gave Lingling a disdainful glance, as if to say, 'It's still not as tasty as hair.'

Then it sneakily glanced at Shao Zifeng's hair, gripping his sleeve once more in its mouth, quickly wriggling its little mouth.
