As the beam of light drew closer, a black blade appears from thin air.He raise it high up as energy covered the blade, Hades then swings it towards the beam of light.
Suuuuuu-!
With the swing of the blade,a blue wave of energy follows.When Hades fought the goblins,his energy blade was still level 1.With a level 1 skill,it was just a meter in length and it's range of attack could go up to 10 meters.
But now,this skill reached level 4 which improved its performance by a huge margin.
A four meter energy wave clashed with the beam of light.At first,they seem to be equal,but a few seconds after,the energy wave slice through the light.It goes straight to the giant tree and cut it in half.
GOOOUUUU...
The giant tree let out a cry before it fall to the ground.

"...What a waste."
It was why Hades was so frustrated,it was not because the enemies were strong.It was because his EXP Bar was already full and all the EXP that he will recieve will turn to waste.
"..why the hell is Ellie still sleeping..?"
As he looked down where she was,he saw his shadows fighting or rather,getting wrecked.It seems like 60 shadows wont be enough to fight hundreds of angry trees.
His shadows are just like pigs infront of a bucher which was the trees,crushing them with their branches.
Hades landed where his shadows were and summon the rest of his soldiers.
He ordered them to circle around and so they did,with a close formation,Hades no longer need to worry about Ellie.
"[SACRED....."
Hades flew out of his shadows and placed his blade to his side.
"..:REBELLION]."
Hades increased his Energy blade's level and released a wave of energy towards the horde of trees.

And so,a 9 meter energy wave shot out,cutting the horde of in half.The enegy wave got denser,it was now 9 inch thick with the temporary level increase.
"Ha-!I'm so strong,is there even someone out there who's stronger than me?"
Hades covered his mouth and looked around if anyone heard it.When he saw no one around,he sigh in relief,as no trouble was coming for him.
"..I just hope i didn't jinx myself."
With more trees coming to his way,Hades was forced to become a lumberjack.

In the Demon Lord's Castle.
"Milord,are you going to join the war?"An old man with a butler-like attire said as he looked at the woman,putting on her armor.
"..No,i will fight the other demon lord.I didn't know they would follow me here from my escape.Leo,if i lose in our fight,evacuate from here immediately."
"..Yes,milord."
*Creak ~* *Creak~*
"M-milord..."

As the woman turned her head to look at the man,her armor's shoulder piece fall off.
"..It seems the armor does not fit you size,milord."
"..I see,then i'll test the other ones..."
She then looked back at the stand where the armor came from.She took of her helmet and lift it as high as she could towards the armor stand.
"Almost-!There-!!!"The demon lord shouted.
As the helmet touched the top of the stand,she lost her balance and fall to the ground.
BOOM!
Every part of her armor fall off and scattered on the ground.
"..Uhh...dammit-!Who built this stand!?Everyone knows my height problems,so why did they put it way up there!?These armors are oversized as well,what the hell is going on?!"
"..These armors are the smallest ones we could find in the treasury of the previews 4th demon lord.We didn't make new ones as they won't be compaired to these treasures that has been passed on."
"...Ha...just make a new one,there's no point of having these when i cant use it."
"Yes,milord."
She then stood up,dusting off the dirt on her butt.
"Milord,i will take care of these,please rest and i'll inform you when the armor is ready."The butler said as he pick up every pieces of armor.
"..Sure,I'm counting on you then."
"Yes."
She then walked out of the room and spoke.
"..I guess we'll meet up some other time....demon lord..."She said with a shaky voice.

Back to the valley.
Ellie woke up from all the noise and monster cries she could hear.As soon as Hades saw that she's awake,he told her to hit every one of the trees before he finish them off.
She wont get all the exp but she'll at least get the share of all this.
Ellie regret the fact that she woke up,if she had just stayed still and pretend to be asleep,she wont have to tire herself so early in the morning.
"..Ha...ha...why do i have to do it...?couldn't you just do yourself...?"Ellie asked while panting.
"Stop complaining its all done,and that's so you would grow stronger."

'It seems like it's harder for her to level up for some reason.'
There were hundreds if not thousands of tree monsters that gives a minimum of 300EXP.It should have been enough to level up to level 20 and above.
"Well,it's better than nothing."
Hades then looked at the valley which turned into a plain with black grass.
"Now what do we have here?"Hades said as he walks forward.
Hades was looking at an old looking hut,it was made of dark woods.It has beast skins and skulls outside,the skin was used like a flag and the skull was placed on top of it.
"W-wait for me..!"
When Hades walks towards the hut,his shadows also followed leaving Ellie behind.Of course,she didn't want to be alone in a forest like this.
The trees suddenly turned into enemies,what if the ground she's standing on was a monster as well?
She didn't want to take the risk and so,even though she's tired,she had to follow Hades and his shadows.As they get closer the door of the hut slowly open.
CREAKKKKK-
'..It just got a few scratches from my energy blade,i saw a barrier around this hut when my attack hit it.Does it only block attacks from the outside?'
As the door finally opened,a woman's voice greeted their ears.
"I am the Witc-"
Before the she could finish,Hades quickly moved his hand and threw a hellfire.
"Your to dangerous to be kept alive."He said as he threw more hellfires.
"..What?!No wait,peace-!"
Hades didn't stop and threw another hellfire.
"Ah!Help~!A god damn murderer entered my house-!!!"
And so,the heroic demon lord and the witch of something finally met.
