Watching Anime From Earth With a Psychopath?!

Why? Why?! WHY, TELL ME WHY!!!

Keotex, my new employee now follows me everywhere after signing the contract. Is he stalking me? Does he want to kill me? No wait, he was never the scheming type. If he wanted to kill me, I'd be dead. Then why does he want to join my company?! It's been in existence for ten minutes and already it seems doomed. The CEO is about to get murdered!

Was there something like this in the game? I turn on my privacy augment and check my iPhone. 'The forums, Keotex, hmm...'

It turns out that Keotex was a poor peasant in the game. He got in the same way I did, with good grades. I forgot about this setting because he becomes the richest person in the universe when he founds his own nation. Plus, he can just kill people and steal all their possessions. I didn't think it was like this.

Keotex has an absolute sh*t childhood. Anyone would go insane from that. He actually didn't turn out badly compared to what could've happened. You would see someone worse than Tractos and the current Keotex combined.

Keotex's dad died when he was three months old. His mom was abusive, but an abusive mom is encouraged in this world.

Most parents in this world beat up their children—seriously, this world is bad—but Keotex's mom was worse. She only hit Keotex when he was eight, but this was much worse than if she just hit Keotex all the time. He felt like he did something really bad when ever that happened. His mom struck the iron while it was hot and melting and continuously abused him.

This is what the flashback in the hidden scene looks like.

[Keotex as a three year old. A cute child with chubby cheeks and tiny legs. He's wearing a green dinosaur T-shirt. The dinosaur is eating a human.

"Mommy, look! I killed the target!"

Keotex holds up the head of a man in his thirties.

"You only killed him? You didn't torture or mangle him? You didn't even kill all his relatives?" His mom stands above him, her face cast in shadows. Her harsh voice pierced through the screen.

Keotex's smile disappears. "I'm sorry." He lowers his head.

"It's fine." However, her tone didn't change. "You will just have to live with his family. I've disowned you."

"Mommy, wait! I'll do better!" Keotex cries, dropping the head. He clings to one of his mom's legs. "Don't leave me!"

Even in this world, you can't change the fundamental nature of little kids. They still love their parents.

"Go." The cold word is the last thing she says before walking away. Keotex slowly turns away, walking with his tiny legs, head down.

The scene changes to reveal a house full of laughter. The moon hangs over the skyline. Keotex, now four, plays around with a dead cat. A little boy is with him. This is the family of the man Keotex killed.

The family didn't suspect that Keotex killed the man. Even though this is a villain world, kids don't kill until they're at least five. That's when the most crucial phase of their brain's development ends, and they could take one or two major traumas without causing mental issues.

The mom serves the two kids some strange black goo. That black goo is called "soda," but it's more like the Nutri Fluid from webnovels.

The two kids each grab a tin can full of soda and gulp it down. They then continue playing happily.

Until a dark silhouette blocks the house's entrance. Long, lavender hair and red eyes. A long black dress sways in the slight breeze. It's Keotex's mom.

"Son, it's time to complete your mission."

Those were the words that came out of her mouth.

The scene shows the outside of the house. There's silence, then an eventual reply. "Yes, mommy." Then screams ring out and echo through the night.]

Similar incidents occurred throughout Keotex's life. He was also ordered by his mom to destroy an entire planet. Only at least fifteen-year-olds do that in this world. Although, to me it's bad either way.

Keotex did it even though he was only thirteen at the time. He hesitated, but when he saw his mom's slight smile, he dispelled that doubt.

A couple of months ago, Keotex's mom died. He was lost as to what to do. All of his possessions were gone, not that his mom ever gave him anything. He decided to enroll in the number one high school after finding his dad's will. His mom had been hiding it as his dad was actually a hero. Not one of the mainstream ones. He was like a normal dad on Earth. He was shunned because of how he was in this world.

It was never confirmed, but a lot of people think that Keotex's dad was killed by his own wife. After all, since they both belonged to noble families that were friends with each other, they were married off. There was no love in the relationship. Personally, I think that b*tch killed that dad. He was one of the good people! Stupid game producers, killing him off!

Anyway, that list detailed things he wanted Keotex to do. He wanted Keotex to live a normal life, although, to this world, the things on his list were anything but normal. However, on Earth it's what most people do. Is he a transmigrator as well?

Anyway, Keotex had a habit of doing whatever his mom told him to do. So this list was basically orders from his dad to him. I don't think that's what his dad intended, but it works here.

He originally followed the list until he tried all of the things on the list. "Get a job." He figured that since he was poor now—his relatives stole everything—he might as well try this first.

He was supposed to get a job in a shady labor company. They tried to sell him as a slave. He killed his captors and ran away. He tried all the other things on the list, but failed miserably. After finishing the list—which looked like wanton killing when I played the game—he was lost again. So he tried the only thing he was good at; killing. His mom said to kill whenever he could, so that's what he did. And eventually he started to like it...

In actuality, Keotex is the most pitiful of all the characters. Wait, he's not totally corrupted. Since he's now in my company, I should try to reform him. I have reformation plans for all the people I hired. As a person from Earth, I'm not working with psychopaths!

I'd rather fire Keotex, but he can still kill me if he gets angry. At least he won't kill me if I'm his boss. His dad wrote "Listen to your boss" in subtitles. Maybe I can get him to be my bodyguard.

"What am I supposed to do?" Keotex suddenly asks me.

Oh right, you were still here. What should he do? He has good fighting skills, but he might murder everyone in my dueling team...he has good looks—as a love interest—but he would not be good at singing or dancing. If I put him in security, he might kill the client as "client" could be interpreted as "target."

I'll put him in gaming! He can kill people, but not in real life. There's quests and an objective, which insures that he won't randomly kill everyone. He won't harm anyone in real life! Plus, in virtual reality, real-life fighting skills come over to the virtual world! Perfect!

"You will be in my gaming department! You can compete with others for the captain position if you want. You have targets to kill, quests and PvP, so this will be perfect! Ooh, wait, there's a competition coming up, I'll get so much prize money if you win...*mumble mumble.*"

"I've never played a game before, but I'll do my best!" He looks at me with new life burning in his eyes. He found his new purpose! To make, uh wait, what's her name...

"I never got your name. What is it?"

Whoops, I forgot to tell him my name. I already knew his, so I ignored it when he introduced himself. "I'm Akira."

To make Akira happy! He finished this thought.

Meanwhile, I'm staring at the bubble over Keotex's head. Why is there a thought bubble? Wait, is it the MC Shop? But I never bought anything!

I check the app. It turns out that the app automatically awards me three MC abilities and/or items. One ability called "Comic World" is automatically given to me. It shows me thought bubbles, name tags above people's heads and even sound effects! In word form! I can immediately discover where a sound is coming from! And with the name tags, I can see if anyone's hiding! Wait, I didn't see Keotex before. Oh, I accidentally activated my gift when I used my phone before.

The gift also gives me another ability. However, I have to spin a wheel. I also get an item. A wheel needs to be spun as well. There no rating system on the abilities or items. I can get a sh*tty one or a super OP one depending of the situation. I'll spin on the ship. Right now, I have to deal with Keotex. It'll be easier now that I can read his thoughts.

"We'll go to my newly bought office later. I already hired some people. I'm going to send the invite to a few more people now. You can add me on your hPhone."

I give him my contact details. I need to call him for work anyway. Wait, I didn't just conquer that impossible route, did I?!

What else was on that list anyway? That'll tell me what Keotex might do next. Adding in what he originally did and you get the Keotex Formula!

Let's see, there are ten things that his dad wanted him to do.

-Get a job, check!

-Go to school and get high grades, halfway done!

-Celebrate Christmas with the family or friends-they don't have Christmas here. Besides, the family's dead.

-Get a ca-starship-he was trying to write car here. Is he a transmigrator? But this was in the game...

-Hang out with friends-what friends?

-Get into a great coll-Get multiple degrees-this isn't supposed to be an order. It's just a suggestion. Also, college doesn't exist here. School's mandatory up to high school. There's only up to high school otherwise no one would go to school if it was optional.

-(Wait until Keotex is a teenager) Get a girlfriend-yeah, let's skip that.

-Become popular in school-everyone's dream except for mine.

-Get a nice house-don't you mean starship? No one lives in houses on a planet in this world.

-Be happy!-easy enough, he's already happy. Check!

Okay, so originally he went down the list methodically. He went to school and tried to get high grades. He could never study because he was always fighting and was already behind because his mom home-schooled him...and you know how she is. He was only able to pass the exams because he stole the answers.

Next he tried to celebrate Christmas but...didn't know what that was. He couldn't afford a starship, so he tried stealing one. He tried to steal some big shot's starship and was almost killed.

Since he had no friends, he couldn't hang out with them. He couldn't even get high grades, so he couldn't get more than one degree, and that was even iffy. He sucked at pickup lines and ended up killing the girl he tried to make his girlfriend. Seriously, everything in this world involves killing somehow. I should really buy that Gore Filter. I hope I get it in the wheel.

He failed to become popular as he was not the type to accept subordinates. He wanted to be the subordinate. People only wanted his protection when they saw how powerful he was. They didn't like him or anything.

He couldn't afford a house, as they are too expensive on the planet Star Academy was located near. Star Academy itself is actually a mobile space station.

He was unhappy at the time, since he kept failing all the "tasks." He even failed the last item on the list.

"What are you watching?" Keotex, still in the same position as before asks.

"Oh, it's just some anime." I respond. Hang on a second, I forgot about the number one method transmigrators in webnovels use to make money. Bringing culture from Earth!

It could work, although I can only use anime that are bloody and things that don't involve superheroes. How could I forget!

I guess it was because I was only following the business models people in the game used. I also threw in some valid suggestions from the forums. After all, I'm only an otaku. Technically, I'm smart but I never studied. So I'm behind all my peers...

I can still cheat by using future business models though. As for the blueprints, anyone can build something if they have the materials and instructions. It's like I'm building LEGOs.

Let's use Keotex as a test subject. He won't tell anyone about anything I show him, and he's seen the bloodiest things. If he likes the literature I show him, other people in this world will too.

I'll just put these anime and novels in my entertainment subsidiary. It's perfect! I don't even have to tell anyone who the voice actors are! The more suspicious, the more normal it is!

That sounds weird to me, but that's how it works in this world.

"Hey Keotex, watch this." I show him one of the most bloodiest anime I've watched. "We won't have time to finish before we have to board the starship, but we should get through one episode."

"Okay." He scoots closer to me on the bench.

—————

The episode finishes. It's now five minutes to the time when we have to board the starship. At some point, Keotex landed his head on my shoulder.

"Uh, Keotex, what are you doing?"

"Hmm? What?" He looks up at me. Oh right, he never had any contact with a girl his age that he didn't kill. No wonder he's unconquerable, he's super dense!

I push him off gently. "We should board the starship now."

"Oh right." We get up and walk toward the starship.

I want to admire the exterior, but Keotex keeps trying to hold my hand. I'm not your mom, holding hands is not normal okay? It's only okay if we're a couple but we're not! So stop trying...

I don't say this out loud, afraid that Keotex might get angry and kill me. He's seems fine right now, but I read his backstory. He'll kill anyone that irritates him!

That doesn't mean that I'll let him hold my hand though! I'll just make it seem like it's natural for my hand to keep dodging his.

We finally board the starship. I make sure to avoid all the "love encounters" that the original main character had. It looks like they will happen to me now. Good thing I dodged the water when it tried to fall on me. I don't want to meet that sadist.

I take my seat. Another guy tries to sit in his own seat next to me, but is blown away by Keotex. It's not breaking the rules to sit in another person's seat here, but isn't that too violent?!

The ship takes off. I distract Keotex with the anime I was showing him before. He can't get as close due to the seatbelt's restriction. Hooray for seatbelts!

Wait, now I can't spin the wheel in the MC Shop! Nooo, my free rewards! I'll get them when I move into my dorm. I don't have to deal with Keotex in my dorm!

Now what should I do? I've already watched this anime and would rather watch a different one, but only one device in this whole universe has my anime. I better create them all quick!

I guess I'll just sleep. I'll let Keotex borrow my iPhone and lock all other features except for that anime. You need my fingerprint to unlock those features, but Keotex doesn't know that! After all, most phones are only operable with their owner conscious. He wouldn't suspect that my phone is from another world with less advanced technology.

I hand my precious iPhone over to Keotex, tell him to not lose under ANY circumstances, and take a nice nap for the duration of this ride.

—————

She fell asleep? I look over at Akira. She's sleeping with her head leaning against the wall. There's no windows in this starship. She looks so peaceful...

I turn back to her phone. Where did she even get this anime? Did she make this? It's really interesting. Plus, the animation is better than anything I've ever seen. Not that I've watched much anime.

And this phone. It must have cost a fortune. Antique phones that were kept in such good condition are rare to find. The last one I stole cost 1,000,000,000 stellar coins! And it even had a small, hairline crack on its screen. This phone is in perfect condition, minus some scratches on the back. Why does she bring this phone out in the world? It could break when dropped, or get stolen. It's fine if someone looks at it from afar, but if someone gets a close look at it they'll see how valuable this is.

She might get killed just for this phone. Not to mention the amount of money has. If someone kills her, they'll get all of that money! There must be at least 1,000,000 stellar coins from the bets she made alone!

How did she even get all those bets correct? It's sheer luck if it's one or two, but she made dozens of bets. Granted, she tried to stay inconspicuous, but I was watching her the whole time. Does she have a luck-related ability?

Add all of that up and it equals...I don't know. But I do know it means that she's constantly in danger. She's too cute to die early...

What? Where did that come from? Do I...

Want to protect her? Yes, I definitely do! I'll make sure she never comes into danger! Wait, doesn't this sound like the motto for those detestable heroes?

Er, I'll kill anyone who tries to kill her! Much better.
