HATED WIFE

I have nyctophobia, fear of darkness. Which caused me to tremble and shake very hard. It also led me to sleep very soon.


After what felt like years, the door opened to let the lights in, waking me up. It was Alex. With plate of food.


"I told you didn't I Livian? That you'll face consequences if you don't behave?"


I was still on the floor, and it was quite uncomfortable to sit on the floor. And I wasn't hungry at all.


"Alex, you have Anna back, why don't you let me leave now?"


"Livian you know it's only me who decides everything between us. Now eat or you'll get sick."


"Alex please, what have I done? Please let me goo"


"Livian you ought to open your mouth first."


When I didn't he scooped up the food he brought in spoon and thrust it into my mouth. I spit it all out, causing Alex to frown. And that was when I knew he was extremely angry.


Before I could speak or react to my act, I blacked out. I knew it was my phobia that caused me to unconsciousness.


When I opened my eyes, I saw Anna on Alex's lap who was sitting on the chair besides the bed in the room.


"Anna look, try to understand. I don't want to make love with Alex at all. And now that you're here why don't you tell your Alex to divorce and let me leave?"


Alex sat there quiet and lost in hi own thoughts.


"Why don't you just accept that Alex doesn't listen to you?"


"Anna go to the bedroom now, you need to rest."


Saying that Anna left the room. Alex picked up the plate of food that was still on the table.


"Can't you hear? I said. I. DON'T. WANT. TO EAT."


Without any further ado, he forced my mouth open and thrust the food in and then held my mouth closed so I won't spit it out.


Which I had to follow or my mouth won't be free. I chewed the food and he released my mouth.


He did this again and again until the food was over. Then he said " You'll live in the room next to mine."


"I'll tell the servant to get your luggage from my room to yours"


I did not argue more. Alex stood up and helped me stand up. I didn't refuse his help. I followed him upstairs passes Alex's room where I caught glance of Anna laying on his bed. My heart twitched. We entered the room next to Alex's, it was huge and had all kinds of luxuries.


Alex left just after we entered the room. I heard the door of next room close. I sat on the huge bed.


Soon after I fell asleep, having eaten food just before few hours, no one came to wake me up neither did I wake up.


My eyes opened on the lights sneaking from the half opened curtains, I saw Lilly there.


"Sir has gone to drop Miss Smith at the airport"


"Miss Anna went to meet her grandfather who lives in some other country"


"Lilly do you know when she'll return?"


"No madam but whenever Miss Smith goes to visit her grandfather, she doesn't return for a month or two."


I sighed silently, not wanting Lilly to know. 


"Madam breakfast is ready, you can come after you've dressed up."
