chapter 144: welcome to hell
Appearing inside a room, he was only expecting to see his contractor trinity...but instead the room was full of people...well more like they were full of magus's.
"Lotus your h-" but then he shifted and went onto the hallways and into the bathroom where he began throwing up a clear liquid.
He originally told Joshua to stay back was becuase he could smell the Demonic black magic(DBM) coming from him, and because he didn't have a blessing anymore, he had zero resistance against it, besides his darkness which kept it from invading his body, but still, it was just nasty! and it tasted horrible an smelled even worst.
As he puked she rushed to there with a few others and as they came everyone brought their DBM with them except for the normal magus, trinity.
This made it even worst.

As he was in the room he look at them and they didn't look at him like an enemy nor anything bad, it was mostly looks of hope.
As he was going to ask something, teaia pulled him aside and into a room where Chloe was, and as he saw her he immediately recognized a few things.
As soon as he entered the room teaia quivered and felt shocken. Second was a mist of darkness covered the entire ground, it was thin but it was potent. Third was that as he looked at a sleeping Chloe she was suffering.
It pained him to see her hurting and she looked as if she was getting riped apart from the inside and despite what he said before, he wasn't going to kill her, he failed to kill her back then and he wasn't going to try now. Despite her corrupting him at one point, it was his fault as he let it happen, he was having to much fun with her to care about it, and now he watched as she was on the receiving end and he wanted it to go away...whatever it was that was hurting her.

Without needing to say a word, he walked up to Chloe and sat on the edge of the bed. and as he was up there, he moved her long hair out of her face while softly smiling.
As this happened her phone went off again and despite the darkness terrifying her like usual, she answered. But then as she answered it she heard her boyfriend yelling that Rin/lotus was planning on killing Chloe.
As this happened she sucked up her fear and pulled out two daggers, but before she could even make a move, the darkness shifted and turned into chains wrapping around her.
It wasn't even him that did it, he didn't even bother paying attention to her, the darkness itself hated all forms of black magic and their users.
She was about to yell for him to no to do anything but then her mouth was covered and she watched as he put his hand on her head.
"I see, so I was the one who corrupted you this time? Chloe if you survive this I'm so scolding you for how stupid you've been" he said as he then started absorbing the darkness that was corrupting her.
It wasn't long until his darkness returned to him and as it did he felt estatic as it ate and absorbed all her BDM and made him stronger in the process, it was like having parasites inside of her, just leaching away at her power.
She was nothing more that a magus now, to think she was their leader, well now it would be impossible as she didn't even posses any BDM.

But he pushed that aside as he still had something to do, he looked over to teaia "take care of Chloe for me" he looked back at her and smiled as he remembered his time as her boyfriend.
"If only it wasn't a mission and I was human, to actually be with you would've made me so happy" closing his eyes he felt a hand press on his cheek.
He put his hand in theirs and he heard a soft voice.
"Then why don't you come back, we can start over again lotus" Chloe was never asleep, and as she heard Rin, she felt warmth envelop her.
"I can't" he knew that if he was to stay he'd only get her killed, he was tempted to do it, but he knew what he needed to do, and only he was apart of it, not her or anyone else.

In the end he found himself catching up with the magus's who treating him like one of their own, and despite him braking it to her. . .she was persistent and wasn't letting him go.

***Next Day***
Saying farewell to everyone and giving specific orders to his clan to find the girl while he was gone, he was now with lord melti and Aurora.
"So how do we get to the underworld? do we have to travel and find the gates?" he asked but then she pulled out a large blood red rune.
"Nope" she broke it and then a red Dr.stange portle came under them and they fell threw.
They all fell from the sky and melit was was excited as she acted like she was on a roller coseter.
Meanwhile the two were terrified as they were falling from the sky and they grabbed onto eachother just yelling.
But then as they were falling and got far enough from the ground, his wings poped out and he only was holding onto Aurora....so she fell.
Plumbing to the ground there was no dust and just some cracks "what are you doing get over hear already, slow pokes!" she was insane...or just a demon lord.
Meanwhile the two were shoken from falling from the sky and she was on a huge balcony...of some castle which was next to a whole town.
They landed and as they got to the ground aruroa and him both fell to their knees, but then melti ran over to Rin.
"What are you doing, go Darkness quickly before my knight arive!" she said and darkness erupted out of him, replacing his fleash with darkness and his entire being changed into that of a horned darkness with a darkness tail and wings.
But he was still shocked so he rolled on his back and took a breather, meanwhile melit just looked at him stupidly.
"So I'm guessing you didnt think of it as fun, huh?" she said looking at the two "it was a blast" he sarcastically said and she smiled "I knew you'd like it~" he faceplanted himself.
But then as he did that he felt the ground shake and the door bust open to see scary, heavily armed, Demon's.
"Lord melti, welcome home!" six Demon's took a knee infront of her and she smiled "stop it your all so embarrassing~" she felt heart warmed by them.
But then she pointed at the two behind her "head guardians, these are my guest, well to be specific, my new royal guards, one was hand picked, her name is Aurora Hizvine" she said and they all remained how they were.
"The other is the tenth darkness, Eve's little brother" she said but then one of them looked up "surly you jest my lord, there's only nine darknesses?" he said but then she started laughing.
"Nope, he's the real deal, ask Sera, she was with me the day he dissapeared from the void and put all of the darknesses in panic mode hahaha" she was having fun?
They all looked to her as she was wearing silver armor which flashed with shine, and she simply nodded her head.
They all didn't seem to show any emotions though infront of their lord, but she could tell they were intreaged.
But she had to ruin their fun as he was the second weakest being amongst them "he's the youngest one here, don't cause any trouble with Ten, he's a nice boy so I don't want to hear he started it" she said knowing her guardian's too well.
"Yes ma'am!" they said in unison "dismissed!" she said and they all left, returning their their posts and duties.
She then turned around to the two of them and she looked at auroa mostly "welcome to the underworld, this is going to be your new home for the month, all I need to say is don't leave town, and that's all" she said but then she gazed at him ans then back to her "oh and auroa, you'll be with me at all times, after all you are in a realm occupied by Demon's, I trust your strength and gudgment, but I need an assistant too" she said and Aurora tried getting up.
"Yes me lord" she said catching her breath and then melti walked over to Rin "don't cause any trouble, in the past, your sisters have all been... bad, but I trust you won't do like them so just stay to yourself" she said and then she turned around.
"Now follow me, I'll personally take your rooms, oh and where you'll be able to find me if needed, ugh! I'm already regretting coming back, it's so boring here" she didn't like her job and responsibilities.
Touring around the castle, they explored a quarter of it before she got distracted.
The main area's Aurora memorized was the [the grate hall] [bed chamber's] [solars] [bathroom, etc] [kitchen's, etc] [gate house] [guards quarters] [chapels] after that, 70% was a mystery.
Meanwhile Rin was no better than her, he just looked around in amazement as this was his first time in a castle or anywhere super dupper big.
His hype personality annoyed her as it was like having a child...but darkness, with Demon features instead of wolf....fuck it! she hated kids and he was acting like one!
When melti turned her back she pulled on his dark tail "ah!" he squealed and she gave him a stern look telling him to chill it before she hit him.
"Fine whatever...meanie" he was so annoying she was about to yeet him out the window!

Hours passed and himself in his new room, but instead of doing anything around there like ths other two, he desided to check his system and also that so call room in the void?

As he looked through the system be was shocked, it was to the point where he really though he was hallucinating, but then.

As Rin listen to the system, something didn't make sense and he needed to check it for himself.
He crossed his legs and meditated, sinking into his inner consciousness and seeping into his body to find his mana.
His core mana was missing? how was it missing!
He dove deeper to see his mana pool, but what he found shocked him.
He saw a small pool, of crimson liquid while their was a crimson crystal laced in darkness in the center of the pool.
He wanted to look at it more and see what the hell happened to his mana, but then he heard a voice.
[ Core mana is unusable, you are a being of the void, you got to the point were you devoured your own mana pool but only left the Demonic mana alone...Because of you merged body ]
"Are you saying I can't use magic anymore!" he yelled like a madman.

This made him a bit upset as his mana wasn't as smooth and easy going like core mana.
"What's this D thingy above my mana then?" he asked and got a instant response.
[ Refer to it like your juice or mojo, it's the amount of darkness you can assert and use, lets say for your [dark/darkness dash] or even when you use [dark slash] of even to enhance yourself, it all uses up your dark power and when your depleted ]

That kinda sucked, but then again that ment he wouldn't be instantly revealed if things turned south.
