Just as he let go and Lu Weixi tried to speak again, this time, Qin Zhiyou silenced her with his own lips.


Tied securely to her seat by her seatbelt, unable to budge, Lu Weixi attempted to dodge him. But Qin Zhiyou gently held her head still, gentle and careful.


As time wore on, Lu Weixi transitioned from resistance at the beginning, to numbness later on, and then, she stared at Qin Zhiyou, not knowing what to feel. She was both sinking into the tenderness of the moment and frightened by the harsh reality. She didn't dare to welcome his advances, yet couldn't find it within herself to pull away.
