Under the dim yellow streetlights at night, the wide street was desolate and empty, the shadows of two people stretched very long yet conveyed a sense of warmth.
The wind rose, and leaves drifted down, slowly twirling and dancing.
In the sky, beautiful fireworks suddenly burst forth.
"Wow."
She couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, tugging at the one beside her, pointing towards the sky, "Look, look, someone is setting off fireworks…"
He lifted his gaze briefly, then looked back at the girl beside him. She was smiling beautifully, her whole being radiated an unabashed fondness.
"Fireworks, you like them so much that you could watch them every day." He could have someone set them off for her every day.
"Watching them every day would take away the fun, it's better just to see them occasionally."
She smiled at him, her grin radiating a sense of blissful contentment that was impactful, piercing straight to his heart.
